We can’t stop listening to the soundtrack after seeing Thor: Love And Thunder. Hollywood Records released the soundtrack album on July 6, 2022. And, thankfully, we have a complete list of the music score.
The plot revolves around Thor embarking on a voyage unlike any he’s ever experienced: a striving for inner peace. Gorr the God Butcher, a galactic killer who strives for the annihilation of the gods, interrupts his retirement.
Jennifer Katlin Robinson’s and the director’s writing is consistently engaging and sprinkled with unexpected surprises to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Taika Watiti did an outstanding job as both a director and a voice actor in bringing Korg to life. Christian Bale was phenomenal as “God Butcher.” We could feel Gorr’s rage and desperation every time he appeared on screen. And the soundtrack is just as amazing.

Taika Waititi, the director of the film, wanted the soundtrack to reflect the movie’s “bombastic, loud, colorful palette.”
Because Guns N’ Roses is one of Waititi’s favorite bands, “Sweet Child o’ Mine” by Guns N’ Roses is featured in the movie and helps “reflect the sort of crazy adventure that we’re [visually] presenting”; the music was also used in the movie’s marketing.
