The two of them said their vows at a private residence in Beverly Hills with family and friends, including Ryan Seacrest, Kobe Bryant, and Brittny Gastineau, in attendance. When it looked like the pair’s relationship was going strong as ever things began to fall apart. Lamar’s issues with substance abuse entered the picture in the year 2013. This was a pretty tough year for Khloé and Lamar. Then, the air was filled with break-up rumors of the two of them but they debunked all the rumors in February.
In August of 2013, multiple sources told Us, that Odom’s addiction was resulting in a few problems in his marriage with Khloé. A close friend of the pair told the media outlet, “The addiction had taken over their marriage. The problem is cocaine. He would be high for three or four days at a time.”
The insider went on to say, “Kardashian wants to save her marriage and him. She says the things he does are because of the drugs, and she just wants him to get help.” During the same month, the basketball player was arrested by the cops for DUI.

Lamar thought of solving his addiction problems and he took his first step toward the road to recovery by getting himself admitted into a drug and alcohol rehab facility in September of 2013.

A close source told Us, “They’re relieved it’s over and ready to move on with their lives.” The separation process of Kardashian and Odom got delayed due to the basketball player’s hospitalization after his near-fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel in October 2015.

Lamar was still thankful for the love and support that he received from the side of The Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons star and her family throughout their marriage even though he was not in touch with the whole Kardashian Jenner clan over the last couple of years.

The former NBA player participated in the reality show Celebrity Big Brother this year and he made a few statements about his former flame on the show. During his time on the show, he was seen gushing over Khloé and he had nothing but good things to say about his ex-wife. He stated he regretted how their marriage ended.
In a February 2022 episode of the CBS series, Lamar said, “I never thought about getting married again. I didn’t treat that good woman right.” He even hoped that if given a chance he would love to rectify his past mistakes and maybe get in touch with Kardashian again.
Odom continued, “I wish I was mature enough to handle [marriage] right, but I wasn’t. If given the opportunity again, now I know what to do. What to do and what not to do. Sometimes it’s hard for me to sleep at night thinking about her.”
After getting eliminated from the reality show, Lamar told Us, that he was happy to witness the positive response from the fans. He told the media outlet, “When you marry someone in 30 days, they’ll always be connected to you somehow, someway. [Khloé will] always have a place in my heart.”

During an interview with Page Six, the former athlete said, “I think the difference between Taraji and Khloé is how they [were] brought up. Their upbringing, which makes people different and [affects] the way they think. I think Taraji is more skillful in what she does as an actress compared to what Khloé does.”
Odom described Kardashian as a “great wife” but he went on to say that if he was given a chance to get back with any one of his exes, it would be Henson. He concluded by saying, “I love Taraji. It’s a love thing. It’s about who you love. Taraji is a cool girl. Matter fact she’s here [in L.A.]. I got to see her at the BET Awards in June. So maybe I’ll get to shoot my shot at her again.”
