Who is Rose Hanbury?
Rose Hanbury is a former model and current Marchioness of Cholmondeley. She is married to David George Philip Cholmondeley, the seventh Marquess of Cholmondeley. The couple shares three children, including twin boys, Alexander and Oliver, and a daughter, Iris.
A Marquess is the second-highest grade of the peerage after Dukes.
The marriage between the two took place in 2009 at Chelsea Town Hall.

Both Rose and her husband live in Houghton Hall in Norfolk. This ornate property comprises 106 rooms. It was built in the 1700s for Sir Robert Walpole, later inherited by David in 1990.

Interestingly, the 38-year old is a former model. She was represented by Storm Models. It is the same agency that discovered the supermodel, Kate Moss. The Marchioness is seen sharing pictures from her modeling days from time to time on her social media account.
However, Rose did not continue modeling for long. She later took on the role of a researcher for Conservative MP Michael Gove, which also was short-lived.
Rose has a Connection with the Royal Family
Prince William or Kate Middleton is not the only connection Rose has with the royal family. She is connected with them through her relatives too.
Lazy Elizabeth Lambert, Rose’s paternal grandmother, was a bridesmaid at the Queen’s wedding in 1947. Rose and her husband also attended William and Kate’s wedding in 2011. The two couples have also hosted a fundraising gala for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices in 2016.

In March 2019, some rumors about the Royal Family surfaced all over the newspapers, magazines, and social media. According to it, Prince William was cheating on Kate Middleton with her friend, Rose Hanbury.
It was stated that William had an affair with Rose. The gossip kicked right after The Sun reported that Kate allegedly told William to kick Rose out of their friend circle. Kate had been supposedly close to the former model and such speculation about the real reason for their feud spread everywhere.

The report has not been confirmed independently by any source. When it reached the Prince, he threatened British media outlets with legal action in case they were planning to proceed with these rumors. While this may have worked in Britain, the discussions on social media and in American publications did not stop.
