The model and her singer-songwriter husband broke the exciting news to People magazine on, September 1, 2022, Thursday. During an interview with the publication, the couple said, “We are blessed and thankful to be growing our little family in 2023. We can’t wait to meet our little bundle of joy and watch Poppy become the best big sister!”
The pair also posted an 8-minute-long video on their YouTube channel named The Herberts to announce their baby news. In the video, we can see Abbie’s reaction to finding out that she is pregnant again.
Earlier this year, Abbie suffered a pregnancy loss
Yes, you read that right. Earlier this year, in May, Abbie Herbert had a miscarriage. She shared the sad news with her fans all over the world on May 10 via a video montage that covered her pregnancy journey.
The video consisted of a clip of Abbie finding out she is pregnant and her husband reaction’s to the same and their daughter Poppy playing with the pregnancy test. She even shared the clip on Instagram.
“Our time will come. We are okay & healthy. Sending all of our love to anyone trying to grow their family. I was hesitant about sharing our experience but I’m the type of person that heals by connecting with others. If you’re going through some thing similar, you’re not alone. We love you. I trust that God has a plan for us❤️,” she captioned the video.
When did Abbie and Josh get married?
Abbie and Josh tied the knot on July 12, 2019. The two of them celebrated their third wedding anniversary this year. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Poppy James in May of 2021.
At that point, Abbie told People about the birth of her and Josh’s baby girl, Poppy and she said, “Her sudden arrival shows us just how dramatic she is going to be. We are so excited to take on this new journey as a family.”
On the other hand, Josh went on to say, “It feels as though she has been part of our lives forever. Mom and baby are doing great and we are so excited for this new journey of parenthood.”
Abbie and Josh’s daughter Poppy turned 1 this year and then, the model took to her Instagram to drop a sweet wish for the pair’s baby girl. She wrote, “I still can’t believe my little bean is ONE! Thank you to every single person that wished her a happy birthday.”
