Blackpink has dropped their new album ‘Born Pink’
The girl band Blackpink released their sophomore album titled Born Pink on Friday, September 16, 2022. It is the second studio album of the popular South Korean girl band. Their album was dropped by YG Entertainment and Interscope Records. Their debut album titled The Album came out in October 2020.
For those of you who are unaware, let us tell you that Blackpink’s latest album Born Pink consists of a total of 8 tracks which are of different genres like hip-hop, disco, pop, ballad, and rock.
Blackpink’s new album Born Pink includes their smashing hit track Pink Venom. Along with this, it has also songs such as Shut Down, Yeah Yeah Yeah, Typa Girl, Hard To Love, The Happiest Girl, Tally, and Ready for Love.Â
YG Entertainment talked about the creation of Blackpink’s new album and stated, “A lot of music that is Blackpink-esque has been completed with much effort over a long period of time” and the album will feature several tracks that “feature the band’s signature music style that the members have worked on for a very long time.”
In March, Jennie revealed that Blackpink was working on a new comeback
Earlier this year, while making an appearance on the variety show The Game Caterers in an episode featuring YG Entertainment artists, Jennie disclosed that the band had been working on a new comeback.
At that time, Jennie said, “Blackpink is also making a comeback soon, I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this, but since I’m the only Blackpink member here, I’ll just say it please look forward to it.”
Jennie is set to appear in The Weeknd’s upcoming HBO Max series ‘The Idol’
Yes, you read that right. Blackpink’s Jennie is all ready to create some magic on the screen. She will be starring in The Weeknd’s forthcoming HBO Max series titled The Idol. The upcoming series The Idol has been created by the pop star The Weeknd, Euphoria‘s director Sam Levinson and Reza.
The Idol is set against the backdrop of the music industry. The story of The Idol revolves around a self-help guru and leader of a modern-day cult, who ends up developing a complicated relationship with an up-and-coming pop idol.
Along with Jennie, the series also stars Lily-Rose Depp, The Weeknd, Suzanna Son, Troye Sivan, Moses Sumney, Jane Adams, Dan Levy, Eli Roth, Hari Nef, Rachel Sennott, and Mike Dean.
