Amber Heard has kept herself away from the limelight since the conclusion of the defamation trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp. While the “Aquaman” star had gone MIA, the “Pirates Of The Caribbean” actor was seen refurbishing his lost life by making concert appearances and getting accepted by Hollywood. Now, Amber was finally spotted in Spain since she lost the defamation battle despite putting all her acting skills in the courtroom.
Amber’s Holidaying In Spain…
Since biting the dust in the six-week defamation trial against Johnny Depp, Amber Heard had gone completely MIA. Now, the “Aquaman” star was finally spotted by paps, having a relaxing time in Spain. The 36-year-old ‘drama queen’ was snapped with her girlfriend, “Bianca Butti” and her one-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige.
The photos reveal that Heard was happily playing with her daughter, who was born via surrogacy in July 2021. She was snapped sitting with her on a swing. Well, it’s not clear as to how long she’d be staying in Europe. But again, she may not have money to pay the damages ordered by the court, but she has all the money in the world for her vacations and private jet trips.
What’s with Johnny Depp?
Since the rigorous legal battle against his ex-wife, Johnny Depp has only made positive changes in his life. From making concert appearances to getting back to appearing in adverts and bagging movie deals, Johnny is slowly recovering from all that he lost due to false allegations made by his wife. There was a time when Hollywood shut its doors on his face, despite his innocence.
As for now, it has been reported that Johnny Depp has a girlfriend! Remember Joelle Rich who represented Johnny in his UK libel trial against The Sun? The London-based lawyer who is married, but separated at present, is Johnny’s, newfound love. An insider source revealed their romance is no fling. “It’s serious between them, they are the real deal, the source shared. However, the question about when the two started dating still remains unanswered.
Interestingly, a film has also been released based on the sensational defamation court case between the ex-couple. The Tubi Originals’ ‘Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial’, starring Mark Hapka as Johnny Depp and Megan Davis as his ex-wife Amber, started streaming on the OTT platform yesterday (Sept. 30).
However, the movie hasn’t received positive reactions from fans as was expected. Fans slammed this film as something “nobody wanted”. The only hot take here is the fact I’d rather re-watch six weeks of free, raw court footage than any money-milking, dramatized college project,” one YouTube user commented.
As for the verdict by the Virginia court, the “Danish Girl” star had to pay Johnny, $10 million in compensatory damages along with $50,000 in punitive damages. However, after the verdict in a counter-suit filed by her, Heard owes Depp $5 million but she says that she doesn’t have that kind of money. On the other hand, she is busy making further legal moves again the 59-year-old actor. But yea, about not having money, her lifestyle suggests otherwise, isn’t it?
