Apple has launched the new 10th-Generation iPad powered by the A14 Bionic chip, featuring a complete design overhaul, and in a wide range of colors. Here’s everything you need to know about the newly unveiled Apple iPad 10th-Gen.
The new iPad boasts an all-screen design with a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display. It has upgraded power efficiency while offering even faster performance. Apple claims the battery would be enough for your tasks for the whole day.
“We’re so excited to bring the completely redesigned iPad to our most advanced iPad lineup ever,” said  Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing while announcing the new device.
“With a large 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, powerful A14 Bionic chip, a first-ever landscape front camera, fast wireless connectivity, USB-C, and support for incredible accessories like the new Magic Keyboard Folio, the new iPad delivers more value, more versatility — and is simply more fun.”
Apple iPad 10th-Gen Design and Specs
The newly launched iPad 10th-Gen is significantly different from its predecessor. It features a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with much thinner bezels and squared edges. The resolution is 2360×1640 for nearly 4 million pixels and offers 500nits of brightness.
The design is more like the recently launched iPad Air 5 and iPad Pro. Thus, the Home Button and the chin as well as the forehead are gone for good. There is a Touch ID placed at the top and the display extends all the way to the edges.
Specs-wise, iPad 10th-Gen sports the A14 Bionic chip with a 12MP Ultra Wide front-facing camera located alongside the landscape edge of the iPhone for enhanced video calling experience, and there’s an updated 12MP rear-facing camera.
There is also 4K video recording support with up to 240fps slo-mo, a USB-C port, landscape two-speaker audio, 5G connectivity on cellular models, and WiFi 6 compatibility. On the storage front, there are configuration options of 64GB and 256GB.
What are the Color Options for Apple iPad 10th-Gen?
The most significant change with the new 10th-generation iPad is the introduction of more radiant colors. Apple iPad 10th-Gen is available in four bright colors including Blue, Pink, Yellow, and Silver.
The last generation was only available in two options- Space Gray and Silver. Apple has now included more vibrant color options for the iPad 10th-Gen which would attract a new range of buyers.
Apple iPad 10th-Gen Price and Availability
The Apple iPad 10th-Gen starts at $449 in the U.S. for the WiFi model and $599 for the WiFi + Cellular one. It’s a bit more expensive than its predecessor which was available for a starting price below the $350 mark.
