Over the weekend, the Basic Instinct star took to his Instagram page to share a video of himself in the city of love, Paris with his fans all over the world. In the clip, he ditched his gray hair and showed off his new auburn-colored hair.
In the video, the 78-year-old Hollywood actor didn’t talk about his new hair color. He went on to say, “Hey guys, happy TGIF, have a good one, lots of love.” As of this moment, it is not known why Douglas dyed his hair.

On the work front, Michael Douglas has a lot in store for his fans. Earlier this year, in March, it was announced that Michael Douglas will be playing the role of U.S. Founding Father Benjamin Franklin in a new Apple TV+ limited series.
As per a report by Variety, the limited series will be based on the book A Great Improvisation: Franklin, France, and the Birth of America by Pulitzer Prize winner Stacy Schiff. The untitled series will be directed by Emmy-winning director Tim Van Patten. Emmy winner Kirk Ellis is writing the script of the series.
The drama will “explore the thrilling story of one of the greatest gambles of Benjamin Franklin’s career. At age 70, without any diplomatic training, Franklin convinced France – an absolute monarchy – to underwrite America’s experiment in democracy.”
The plot synopsis further reads, “By virtue of his fame, charisma, and ingenuity, Franklin outmaneuvered British spies, French informers, and hostile colleagues, all while engineering the Franco-American alliance of 1778 and the final peace with England of l783. The eight-year French mission stands as Franklin’s most vital service to his country, without which America would not have won the Revolution.”
Apart from the Apple TV+ limited series about Benjamin Franklin, Michael Douglas will be next seen in the upcoming superhero film named Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The movie is based on Marvel Comics featuring the characters Scott Lang / Ant-Man and Hope Pym / Wasp. It will hit the theatres on February 17, 2023.
