During an interview on Thursday, the Ghost Rider actress was promoting the Ronald McDonald House charity on “Today Australia,” and amid the interview, she called Ryan Gosling, ‘her husband’ after being asked about her time Down Under.
The mom of two said, “I’m loving it here. Everybody is amazing, everybody is welcoming us, it’s been so beautiful. My husband Ryan is here … and our children are here, we’re having the best time.”
Eva and Ryan share two daughters named Esmeralda and Amada. Later on, she went on joke around about her “ordinary” looking spouse soon after the hosts of the show Karl Stefanovic and Allison Langdon put on a shirtless video of Ryan from the movie Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Mendes further added, “Yeah, that’s my life, unfortunately. He’s a great cook and he bakes. I got the short end of the stick, didn’t I!” Her comments sent the fans of the pair into a frenzy.
A fan posted the clip from her interview on Instagram and wrote, “Finally we got it. I hope there’s no other reason for announcing this now.” Another chimed in, “She has a wedding ring on,” meanwhile a third one further added, “Congratulations.”

On Tuesday morning, the Once Upon a Time in Mexico star shared a picture of her wrist tattoo on the social media platform Instagram. Her wrist tattoo read, “de gosling” which means, “of Gosling.”
In Hispanic culture, women add ‘de’ or ‘of’ to their last name after getting hitched to join the two monikers. It looks like that was the unique way for Eva to re-introduce herself as Eva Mendes de Gosling.
