The much-awaited year-end experience from the most popular music streaming service in the world is here. Fans are ready to discover what were their most played songs and who were their most listened-to artists this year.
Meanwhile, Apple Music Replay 2022 which is the music streaming service’s answer to Spotify Wrapped is also here. If you are an Apple Music user, you can already view your listening statistics.
What is Spotify Wrapped 2022?
Wrapped is a year-end experience on Spotify which tells you what songs you have been playing on the service, which artists you were listening to, which were your most listened-to albums, and more data from the whole year.
This widely popular personalization feature serves as one of the biggest marketing campaigns for the company. Spotify users really like to know about their music listening statistics and the platform makes sure they are presented in a stunning way.
Every year, fans wait for Spotify Wrapped to drop and then share it with their friends and family members. Spotify also releases a couple or more new features with Wrapped every year.
Spotify Wrapped 2022 Released on Nov. 30th
Spotify Wrapped is usually released at the beginning of December every year. For 2022, Spotify launched Wrapped on Wednesday, November 30th. Before that, the music streaming service was heavily teasing the highly anticipated drop.
There were teases coming directly from Spotify and hinting toward the same launch window. The story started back in October when the company asked fans to make Wrapped Top Artist predictions.

A week later, Spotify launched the “Your Wrapped Soundcheck” feature for artists on the platform. Last week, Spotify promised that “All will be revealed soon” while pointing toward Wrapped.
A day later, Lizzo joined the conversation and shared a GIF of the singer beneath another tweet which stated, “Turn up the music… it’s almost about damn time for #SpotifyWrapped.”

Spotify Wrapped New Features for 2022
Last year, Spotify included new features like Audio Aura and playing “Two Truths and a Lie” with Wrapped. You can also become the hero of your own movie soundtrack with Spotify Wrapped 2021. This set the bar of expectations high this time.
We know that Spotify Wrapped 2022 unveils a visually appealing chart featuring your personalized music listening statistics highlighting the top songs, top albums, top artists, and more. However, the company is achieving more than that.
Spotify has introduced “Listening Personality” with this year’s Wrapped. This new feature is created taking inspiration from the classic Myers-Brigg personality test and its four-letter codes.
The resemblance becomes clear when you realize that “Listening Personality” on Spotify features a four-letter combination for the user that translates into one of the sixteen personality types that Spotify has created for music listeners.
For example, users who quickly stream new releases and who regularly keep up with the trends are termed ENPC (early adopters). Meanwhile, users who listen to music from other parts of the world are termed ENLC (voyagers).
Spotify is Making Wrapped 2022 Easier to Share
Wrapped is Spotify’s key marketing and promotion tool every year. Users are too excited to share it on their social media profiles and with their friends. To make sure it reaches as many people as possible, Spotify already allowed users to easily share it on social media.
However, with Wrapped 2022, the company is also adding dedicated integration with WhatsApp, Instagram DM, Facebook Messenger, and Line. This will ensure that users who prefer sharing Wrapped privately can be tracked and won’t have to take a screenshot.
Not only this but Spotify is also utilizing its Roblox integration, Spotify Island, for this year’s Wrapped. Roblox users can go on Wrapped-inspired quests this time. They can play games, shop for virtual merchandise, and use a photo booth feature with 12 different artists.
These artists include Bizarrap, Black Sherif, CRO, Doechii, Eslabon Armado, Miranda Lambert, NIKI, Stray Kids, SUNMI, and Tove Lo. Alongside these, there are the regular features and key insights from the music world.
Did you check your Wrapped yet? If yes, did you like the presentation? Mine turned out to be pretty amazing. Spotify did a great job this year in my opinion.
