What did Todd Chrisley have to say about the gay rumors?
During a 2017 interview on The Domenick Nati Show, the Chrisley Knows Best star, talked about the gay rumors that had been swirling in the air. He stated that the questions about his sexuality don’t bother him.
At that time, Todd said, “In order for it to disappoint me, it would mean that I don’t agree with someone being gay. I don’t believe that’s a choice that you make. I believe that you are the way that God has made you.”
Then, the reality TV star who has been married to his wife Julie for almost 21 years went on to say that speculation is only positive for him and his wife. He said, “I’m flattered that people think I can get laid on both ends. So, that doesn’t bother me.”
Chrisley went on to say, “And my wife certainly is flattered that as many men want her husband as there are women. With that being said, I’m never going to have a drought. You on the other hand might. But Todd will never have a drought.”
Before the reality show’s 2014 premiere, Todd addressed the rumors that said he’s gay and he said, “There’s no coming out. … What you see is what you get. I am what I am. Other people’s opinions of me are just not my business.”
At that point, the USA Network star stated that he’s proudly flamboyant and very enthusiastic about fashion. He even recalled a message that a user sent to him on Twitter and the person asked him, “When are you going to come out of the closet?”
Chrisley added, “I said, ‘I don’t live in a closet, but if you’d like me to escort you out of yours I’m happy to do so.’ All of a sudden the Tweet went away and he took it down because I flipped the script on him.”
