Luke Combs is going to be a father again! The country singer and his wife, Nicole Combs, have announced their second pregnancy. The couple shared the exciting news with an adorable post on Instagram on Monday.
Luke and Nicole welcomed their first child, son Tex, nine months back. The news comes just a few days before the 33 year old singer is set to drop his new album, Gettin’ Old. Read on to know more about the singer’s journey to fatherhood.
Luke Combs and Wife Nicole Expecting Second Baby
Both Luke and Nicole took to Instagram to post a video announcing their pregnancy and revealed that they would be welcoming another son. The video featured a series of shots of the couple cuddling their nine-month-old son, sporting a ‘Big Brother’ t-shirt. “Joining the 2 under 2 club! Baby boy #2 coming this September!!,” Luke captioned the post.
The video was set to the tune of the singer’s new song, Take You With Me, which will be a part of his upcoming album, set to release on March 24. “Got a youngin’ of my own / he’s too young to understand it / when he gets a little older / watching the stage where I’m standin,” say the lyrics.
“He’ll know it’s about him / when he hears me sing I’ll take you with me / if it was up to me we’d do everything together / and when they’re young like that / those days they don’t last forever / so every chance I get you best believe I’ll take you with me,” Luke sings further.
The Couple Tied the Knot in 2020
Luke and Nicole met at a music festival in 2016 and began dating soon. Two years later, they announced their engagement, followed by their wedding in August 2020. The couple welcomed their first son on June 19 last year.
“Welp he decided that Fathers Day would be a good time to show up. I couldn’t agree more. Me and @nicolejcombs are over the moon in love with this little guy. Mama and baby are healthy and we’re back home now with family. Life is good. Everyone welcome Tex Lawrence Combs to the world!” Luke wrote announcing the birth of his baby.
Meanwhile, Nicole added, “It’s going to be hard to top this past Father’s Day 🥲 Welcome to the world, Tex Lawrence Combs. You are the best chillest angel boy and I’m so happy I was chosen to be your mom. These are the days 🤍.”
Luke Combs is Heading on a World Tour this year
It seems like the year is going to be a busy one for the When It Rains It Pours singer as he is also heading on a world tour. The tour kicks off on March 25 in Arlington, Texas, and will conclude on October 19 in London. Along the way, Luke will be performing 35 shows in 16 different countries.
The US leg of his tour will include destinations like Chicago, Nashville, and Detroit, with the final show in Philadelphia on July 29. The singer will then perform across Australia and New Zealand in August, followed by a European leg in October.
