Where Are You? Oh, We’re Calling For Minecraft Players!
Minecraft is perhaps one of the best nonviolent, educational games available. It actually teaches individuals the principles of programming, teamwork, problem-solving, and project management.
As well as providing a wonderful setting in which to promote creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.
It not only improves creative and problem-solving skills, but it’s also a lot of fun to play. Also, who said Minecraft is just for kids? To be honest, it’s one of the best came we came across.
Okay, we have a massive surprise for Minecraft players ahead.
50 Things To Do In Minecraft That You Won’t Get Bored Of
Minecraft is a fantastic game with a plethora of entertaining activities. However, coming up with interesting activities might be tough at times.
So don’t worry, we’ll provide you with a list of 50 entertaining things to do in Minecraft in this piece. Okay, literally 50 Things.
1. Create Some New Survival World
Making a new survival world and making sure you don’t cheat is the first thing I recommend.
Cheating in Minecraft, while it makes things a lot easier, it also destroys the experience because it means you’re less likely to go out and get resources, and the game quickly becomes less enjoyable.
2. Go Out And Do Some Exploring
Did you know that if you use a random seed to create a Minecraft world, you can change the world’s appearance?
There’s a good chance that no one has ever seen that Minecraft world before; there’s all kinds of terrain and pretty much anything, and you should go out, maybe get a boat, and check out the landscape because these places are endless.
It’s like exploring the real world, except you don’t have to get out of your chair. You could also try to find all the different types of structures while you’re at it.
3. Play With ‘The Ender Dragon’
I suppose it goes without saying that attempting to finish Minecraft’s most difficult task is a lot of fun, and it’s even more so if you do it with your friends.
I recommend taking some water, a bunch of snowballs to take out the end crystals, arrows, and, of course, the sword.
But the fun doesn’t end there because once you defeat the Ender Dragon, it will open up an end portal that will allow you to journey through into the end island’s dimension.
These are the things you’re looking for; they’re called end cities, and if you’re lucky, you’ll find a boat nearby. If you just go down there, you’ll find “the elytra”, which allows you to fly in Minecraft
4. Get Yourself Some Form Of Mob Farm
You can also buy some mob farms or sugar cane to make fireworks; according to one tip, combining fireworks with elytra gives you a jetpack in Minecraft.
Building farms are way fun to build trust me.
5. Try And Stick To A Theme
Your builds will look a lot better if you stick to a theme, but it can also be a lot of fun to entirely deviate from that theme in specific places of your base.
If you’re ever stuck for ideas, remember that the Minecraft community has undoubtedly created something really spectacular for you to look at, such as the Imperial City, which you can download from planet Minecraft.
6. Try User-Created Adventure Maps
If you’ve completed creative mode, standard Minecraft, or have completed the survival mode.
So If you get bored with all of these, you can try one of the user-created adventure maps, which transform the game into something entirely different.
It’s not simple to grasp this stuff, but if you persevere and design a completely functional adventure map, why not invite some friends around and see how they enjoy it.
7. Shoot Short Films
Making short films in Minecraft is one of the most enjoyable things you can do. Setting up small scenes, making up storylines, and other such things.
If you want to improve the aesthetic of the short film, you can apply modifications such as the shader mod and depth of field, which all work together to create a truly cinematic piece.
There’s a lot of fun to be had on the modded side of Minecraft, with all kinds of different possibilities and new features being added to the game. It might not be your cup of tea, but you should at least give it a try.
8. Take A Few Challenges
You can take on a variety of tasks, such as not using any weapons or not wearing any armor, or doing speed runs in the whole game.
9. Play In Hard-Core Survival Mode
The world will normally begin as a normal survival mode, but the mobs will be much harder and in greater numbers.
It also has a feature where if you die once, your entire Minecraft world will be destroyed, and you will only have one life.
You will only be able to observe the world after you die. So, if you want to play this mode, be very careful. You can also invite some friends to play with you.
10. Download Some Fun Mods
It can be a lot of fun to download some fun mods from your perspective. For instance, carpenter’s blocks, deco craft, biblio craft, and a slew of other enjoyable mods to download and play with your friends.
11. Try To Collect Every Music Disc
If the music in Minecraft is bringing you down, why not attempt collecting all of the music discs? There’s plenty to keep you occupied with 12 to get.
Granted, not all of them are created equal, but if you want to gather them all, all you need is a skeleton and a creeper to get you through this period.
12. Try To Find All The Parrot Colours
Why not try to locate all the parrot colors if you’re going to all the trouble to find every single music disc?
Because at the very least, they won’t be picky about their music, and you’ll be able to make some amusing memes. I’m simply stating that it might be beneficial.
13. Make A Zoo
Creating a zoo is a great thing to do because there are so many various mobs to collect. And while some of them can be easily taken with leads, I would probably recommend taking a boat for this one.
Because not only does having a panda in your backseat look hilarious, but it’s also a fairly effective way to get them where you want to go.
14. Build A Rollercoaster
You can obviously sit in Minecraft if you’re afraid of riding a rollercoaster in real life. The finest aspect is that you can control your speed and determine how fast the roller coaster should travel.
All straight sections of a roller coaster should have electrified rails activated by Redstone torches or switches to sustain top speed throughout your ride.
15. Farm Some Crops
In Minecraft, you can grow a wide range of plants, some of which offer food, others of which you can trade or sell for profit, and yet others of which you can utilize to construct useful tools.
When it comes to constructing a garden, knowing all of your plant alternatives is crucial. There are a variety of techniques to farm various vegetables or fruits, so you can find a tutorial on YouTube or elsewhere.
Wheat, carrots, and potatoes are all simple crops to grow. Simply follow these simple instructions:
- Seeds and veggies should be collected.
- Wheat seeds can be found by breaking tall grass blocks or tilling grass blocks. Carrots and potatoes can be found in communities or by fighting zombies.
- Plant seeds, carrots, or potatoes by right-clicking the cropland.
- On the block, little green stems develop.
- Wait until the crops have reached full maturity.
Carrots and potatoes are ready to harvest when the heads of the crops begin to emerge, and wheat is primarily yellow and brown when completely grown.
While you’re waiting, get some work done. Bone meal (made from skeleton bones) can also be used to produce crops quickly.
- To earn money, you must break the crop blocks.
- Seeds, carrots, and potatoes should all be replanted.
16. Collect Every Item In The Game
You heard that correctly every single obtainable item in Minecraft. There are presently 379 craftable things in the game, and learning how to get them is half the fun.
17. Build A Piston Door
Piston doors are a common entryway option among Minecraft players. These doors are not only attractive, but they’re also simple to conceal and turn into hidden entrances.
Piston doors also provide additional protection against Minecraft mobs and dangerous players who may be present on the server. It may be worth it for your security in the game.
18. Build A Giant Statue Of Your Skin
Making your own statue can be a lot of fun. Some tips I can give you include having a good eye so you can see the individual colors on the skin.
(I suggest using a skin that isn’t too detailed.) If that’s the case, take out some detail unless you’re willing to spend the effort to add it.)
Let me now explain to you a little about skins. They’re not the same as Minecraft blocks. From various perspectives, Minecraft blocks have the same texture. When each side of an avatar is a distinct color.
As a result, one color on one side could be black, while the identical color on the other side is white. You can opt to ignore it and keep working on your project, and either continue to build or replace the block.
19. Make A Nether Hub
A nether hub is simply a chamber with halls leading to various subterranean portals throughout your world.
Because the coordinates for a nether portal are 1/8 of the overworld, getting to really vast distances is much faster.
In the Overworld, players frequently have excellent cause to travel hundreds of blocks from one location to another, which takes time and resources.
The Nether can be used in these situations to drastically reduce the length of a journey. This is owing to the fact that Nether coordinates are 8x the value of Overworld coordinates.
Implying that every one block traveled in the Nether equates to eight blocks traversed in the Overworld.
20. Create Art Using Maps
Map art is a sort of art created in Minecraft by placing specified blocks at specific spots inside a map’s visible region.
Minecraft players can design graphics that will be displayed on the map. Players can express themselves in-game through map art.
Though there’s a con of this is that it’s a complex and time-consuming procedure. You can do it if you follow the right tutorials; it’s difficult but not impossible.
21. Temple Of The Sea
Sea temples, which normally spawn on the seafloor, provide an unusual challenge complete with Guardian hostile fish. That can attack you with rays of some sort.
And Elder Guardian enemies that give you Mining Fatigue, making it nearly impossible to break blocks.
On the plus side, the structure is built of green prismarine blocks, sea lanterns, sponges, and gold blocks, which can be utilized to create a wonderful appearance.
22. Diamond Hunt
Search for diamonds and other valuable materials, and then brag that kind of stuff in front of your buddies. Though it can be challenging, all you need is a trick.
23. Use The Egg Machine
Get a chicken into a tight area with a hopper and chest to collect eggs, as I call it, but it’s not precisely a machine.
24. Make Potions
Make a brewing stand out of a Blaze Rod (see Nether) and make potions for yourself and your opponents, both good and bad. Breathing in water, for example, does, well, guess.
25. Locate The End
Using the eyes of the ender, locate an End Portal, locate the dungeon, then activate the End Portal.
In the End, dimension, battle the Ender Dragon. There are a lot of endermen looking for pearls, but a formidable opponent.
26. Redstone Machines
People have built calculators, sorting machines, sophisticated security systems, hidden bases, player-triggered systems and traps, recreated classic video games, recreated functions of computer memory, you name it.
27. Achievements
In the Esc menu, there’s an Achievements button that suggests optional achievements you might want to try such as cow breeding, going to the nether, fighting Ghasts with their own fireball (Return to Sender).
28. Just Have Fun
It doesn’t matter what you do, or how to do it. As long as you and those you are playing with are having fun, go for it.
Whether it’s building the tallest skyscraper ever or crashing Minecraft with boot loads of TNT, if you are having fun, then it would be the ‘best’ thing you can do.
29. Build Underwater
So many people build above ground – even floating cities – but where’s the fun in that?
Make your own Atlantis; underwater, clear domes that look like they’re reinforced, glass tunnels, a tram service that runs you above ground through the ocean.
There’s so much to do underwater, and the challenges it presents to deal with all that water (no, don’t use Worldedit to quickly remove that water…).
30. Raise The Ocean
Now, this project can actually be a lot of fun, but also a damned nightmare at points.
You see, oceans are big, and you can’t place water on water, so, you have to basically place down every layer of water.
But that’s not even the worst bit. I raised the ocean by 5 blocks on a server I played on (in a certain area) and it looked awesome to move that giant wall of water.
Flooding plains biomes and all that good fun are great. Even Snow biomes where the ocean just freezes (Oh, by the way, this includes flooding all connecting rivers, and oceans that connect to those).
The only problem… this one issue… Big Trees.
Without Treecapitator, these are nightmares. You can’t just cut down one trunk, you gotta get all the branches. You can’t just let it decay because it won’t decay, you have to go mining through the leaves.
A single tree can take you maybe around 5 seconds with 1 for each bit of wood. Big Trees, however, require parkouring to the top. Scaffolding your way up then removing the scaffolding, clearing out layer by layer to make sure you didn’t miss a log in the darkness of the leaves.
Big Trees can easily take you 2-3 minutes. Not much, but remember it’s one tree, and when you’re ocean is trying to level out over a forest biome, that can add up.
31. Enchanter
This is a job that will challenge your patience because you are heavily reliant on Miners and must frequently go acquire exp in order to enchant stuff for your customers. It is more of a server job (really it is).
32. Make A Special Trophy Room In Your Base
You hang item frames and fill them up with special mementos. The items can include the following.
- Your first sword
- Axe
- Pickaxe
- Armor
- Your First Death
- Your First Diamonds
- Your First Ocean Monument Raided
- Your First Dragon Fight
- Your Adventures And Journeys
Don’t forget to name your mementos with an anvil.
33. Make The Burj Khalifa In A Reality
There are numerous videos available that demonstrate how to construct this structure.
So, you can either watch the video on YouTube and follow along, or you can download the Burj Khalifa map in Minecraft and follow along.
34. Use Command Block To Perform Incredible Tricks
Command Block is incredible. By just pasting or typing a command into the block, you can accomplish anything with your universe.
You can do everything using the command block, from drowning your villagers to constructing an interior for your MC house.
35. Felling Of Trees
If you want to chop down a whole tree, but you can’t reach the top, try leaving the lowest block of the tree untouched (like a tree stump), climb on it, chop down the tree and then get the block below you.
If you still can’t reach the top block of wood, then place some easily destructible block (for example, ground) under you. Tree trunks hanging in the air look unaesthetic.
36. Buying Emeralds From Villagers
There is an easy way to get emeralds, you just need to find an NPC village with farms (which are in almost every village.
Usually in large quantities), wait for wheat to grow on the farms, collect it (do not forget to plant seeds on empty beds) and sell it to the farmer.
Then wait and harvest again. Thus, the villages are actually an endless generator of emeralds. And since the seeds fall in quantities of 1-2 or more.
You can make several new farms to increase the amount of wheat produced (for one emerald, you need to give ~ 20 pieces of wheat).
37. Crossing Lava With Boats
You jump over lava with boats in your Hotbar and place the boats underneath you as you go. they disappear behind you which makes it cooler and so people cant follow you.
38. Use A Water Bucket To Survive Great Falls
It has saved my life more than a couple of times. It’s pretty common and if you don’t know it’s when you fall from a height where you would normally take damage from.
And place water directly on the block land on just before actually landing while holding space bar so you jump at the same time (or hold A or X if on console).
This allows you to survive falling from pretty much any height if achieved.
39. Killing Endermen Effortlessly
Basically, go to the end and make a 5×5 square directly on top of you (leaving a 2-block gap between it and the ground). This way, you can go under it, but the endermen cannot.
Just look at multiple endermen, have them come to you, and have fun killing them without taking any damage. Just don’t get too close to the edges. You’ll be in for a ‘fun’ ride then.
40. Make A Banner
Make a banner and put it on a shield.
Then, get an armor stand in a boat, give it the shield, and pose it so that it holds the shield in front of it. You made a boat with a flag.
The player will need a stick and six pieces of wool to make a flag. After that, go to the crafting table. Aside from the traditional white, players can make banners out of several colors of wool.
Players can mix and match different flags and colors. A white banner, for example, was blended with lime dye to produce a green brick pattern in the image above.
The border was then created by combining the green brick banner with black dye. Because of this physics, the possibilities for banner construction are nearly limitless.
For more advanced designs like skeletons, creepers, or skulls, a banner pattern is required. Banner patterns can be created with a piece of paper and a specific item such as a creeper head.
41. Target Practice With A Bow & Arrow Is A Great Idea
In Minecraft, did you know you can make a bow and arrow? While the process warrants its own blog article, here is some background information to get you started.
- Defeat spiders to obtain string. (Hide in a confined location and stomp on the spider until it succumbs.)
- Collect arrows from skeletons to get them.
- Collect feathers (from chickens), sticks (from wood planks), and flint to make arrows (from gravel mining).
- Advanced makers have the ability to enchant a bow.
To shoot an arrow with a bow, press and hold right-click, then release. Move the mouse around to aim.
For infinite arrows, we recommend doing this in creative mode. (In survival mode, children must either enchant their bows with infinity or bring a large number of arrows.)
42. Make Your Own Weapons To Battle Mobs
Why settle with a wooden weapon when you can create something far more impressive? Stone, gold, iron, and diamonds have all been used to make tools. Here’s how it works:
Wood is the most accessible resource, yet it is also the most fragile. The ideal material for making tools is diamonds, but until you locate diamonds, look for iron.
Gold isn’t good for anything that needs to be durable, such as tools, weapons, or armor.
Here are five mining suggestions:
1. Before digging into the ground, construct a staircase to prevent characters from becoming stuck.
2. Dig one block in front of the character, drop down, and then dig another block in front of the character until the desired depth is reached.
3. Don’t forget to bring plenty of torches.
4. Never ever dig too deep, If you dig too deep, characters may tumble into lava, perish, and lose all their belongings. It will also be difficult to return to the surface if you dig straight down.
5. Use caution when entering caves. Caves have a lot of foes, thus gamers should practice their combat skills first.
43. Organize A Building Competition With Your Buddies
Making something cool is a lot of fun! It’s fantastic to be able to play Minecraft with your buddies.
Combine the two and add a building contest to the mix. The sky is the limit in a Minecraft building contest, whether it’s recreating Hogwarts, building an incredible pirate ship, or just building whatever comes to mind on the spur of the moment.
How to organize a Minecraft building competition with your buddies
- Start Minecraft and go to Singleplayer mode.
- Choose “Create New World” and “Building Contest” as the world’s name.
- Select “Creative” as the game mode.
- Difficulty should be set to “Peaceful.”
- Make sure that Allow Cheats is turned on.
- Then, under “More World Options,” select “Superflat” as the World Type. After that, click “Done.”
Now it’s time for the kids to get building they’ll have 30 minutes (or however long you specify) to construct something in their environment; for example, they may construct:
- A labyrinth
- A treehouse is a structure that is built into a
- A rollercoaster…or whatever else they can think of!
After the time limit has expired, everyone discusses what they’ve made, showcasing their creations to one another and possibly voting on a winner.
44. Choose A Happy Moment From Your Childhood
Childhood memories are so refreshing! So why not remember something from your childhood are rebuilt it somewhere in your world.
Birthdays, getting a new pet when you achieved something you were proud of, whatever moment makes you smile. Re-create that scene in your world in as much detail as you can.
This will give you Happiness, as well as, make you learn something new in Minecraft.
45. Milk A Mooshroom For Mushroom Soup
Most players are aware that the game’s cows may be milked with a glass bottle, as well as producing meat and leather when killed.
The Mooshroom, a red-and-white cow with mushrooms sprouting out of its back that looks like the cutest science experiment gone bad, is an extremely rare cousin of these animals in Minecraft.
The mushroom can only be found on the exceedingly rare “mushroom island” biome, which is a fungus oasis generally located at sea and covered in mycelium blocks with mushrooms as large as trees.
As a result, some inexperienced gamers may never come across the mushroom island or the mushrooms that populate it.
Each one can be milked like a normal cow, but it’s trickier. Instead of a glass bottle, players must use a wooden bowl, and instead of milk, delicious, food-bar-refilling mushroom soup is the result.
For the lucky player, mushrooms can be an unlimited source of food.
46. Weather Modification
Changing the weather is an excellent command block to have in your arsenal if you want to have more fun with command blocks.
Give these a try if you’re looking for something new on the horizon (literally). To add weather to your map, open the console command and specify the weather you want to use.
47. Create Your Own Biome
By terraforming your own area, you could create a volcanic wasteland using obsidian, black stained clay, lava blocks, and lava formations, or create a lush green forest complete with custom trees, vines running from tree to tree, and wild carrot plants.
48. Carve An Evil LairÂ
Into the area below a mountain, your evil scientist is going to need labs, a fusion reactor, a bunch of oddly specific vehicles such as a submarine with a massive claw, and at least one missile silo placed in the middle of the mountain.
49. Craft! Craft! Craft!
Craft up about ten stacks of signs and place them all over your world in obscure places. Write something like “[player] was here” on them.
Place them in caves, on the ocean floor, behind walls, on the tops of trees, and on the tops of hills. Every once in a while you’ll be exploring a jungle and you’ll find a sign. I’m sure it will amuse you every time.
To craft items using a 3×3 grid, create a crafting table with 4 wooden planks, place it in the world, and press use while facing it.
This brings up an interface with a 3×3 crafting grid, which the player can use to craft any crafting recipe in the game.
50. Mine Diamonds!
Especially if players plan to go mob hunting in the Nether world, having diamond gear is a must-have.
The thrill players experience finding a diamond is much like catching a fish in a sparse lake. Only if players go swimming in a lava lake, they’ll roast.
Diamonds can be discovered below level 16, however, they are most usually found in layers 5-12. Diamonds are the most durable material for armor or swords, as well as the most efficient for pickaxe mining.
