The Lose You To Love Me singer Selena Gomez recently issued an apology after the fans accused her of making fun of her ex Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey Bieber in a TikTok video. Read on to know what Selena had to say about the incident.
Selena was subtly shaded for accusing Hailey Bieber in her recent TikTok
Let’s start from the beginning, all of this began when the Rare Beauty founder shared a silent skincare makeup tutorial on TikTok. By taking a look at the video, some fans assumed that since Hailey Bieber posts skincare videos on the platform regularly that Selena’s video was kind of an attempt to throw shade at Hailey’s posts.
If you will closely watch the video posted by the We Don’t Talk Anymore singer, you will witness that there is no mention of Hailey or any other person in the video. Gomez was honestly confused by the commotion and she ended up disabling the comments on the video.
Gomez apologized in a TikTok comment post the incident
Selena publicly offered an apology for what the fans believed to be a move against the supermodel. She took to TikTok and just voiced her opinion on the situation.
The 29-year-old musician posted a comment on a screenshot shared by one of her fan accounts on the video-sharing app TikTok. She wrote, “This is why I believe in taking care of your mental health. Guys no idea what I did but I really am sorry. Zero bad intention. Deleting soon.”

Just a month back, Hailey also took to social media and posted a video in which she begged the online bullies to leave her alone. In a TikTok video titled, “This is for you guys in my comments every single time I post,” Hailey poured her heart out.
At that time, Justin’s wife said, “Leave me alone at this point. I’m minding my business. I don’t do anything, I don’t say anything. Leave me alone, please. Enough time has gone by where it’s valid to leave me alone.”
