    • exactly, these people are famous, nobody you don’t know is on that list. There are many famous people but without a doubt everyone will know who they are.

      Seems obvious to me that JESUS CHRIST of Narareth should definitely be the “First” on the list. (How many “thousands of years” has He been famous?) “Second” on the list, obviously, should be Mother Theresa. (Aren’t these people #1 in many peoples’ hearts, every single year? Yes!)

      I think the qualifications for the “20 Most Famous People” list has some guidelines that make the answers different and would not necessarily include the 20 most “Famous” people of 2021.

    • What about “The Real ” AL Madril, of WCCW Wrestling in Dallas Texas circa 1979-1985. He was more famous than any man alive in his own mind. To leave him off this list is a crime.

They went and asked a bunch of people which famous people they know, and these were the answers they got the most. What is there to disagree with?

I think that we all can agree that he is much more famous that any other person in this list, probably two or even three times more people know him.   76. I think they fail to understand that popularity doesn’t necessarily mean the amount of instagram followers you have. A lot of people are still without social media and don’t know half of these celebrities. Even some people might think JLO is popular, but it took me until grade 10 to know who she was after watching ‘The Boy Next Door’); though I heard of her name now and then, I never knew how she looked. Nonetheless, I have Bill Gates, Michael Jackson, and Donald trump as the three most popular people besides the name “Jesus”. If your grandmother or elderly relative don’t know them, I don’t think they deserve to be counted as the most popular people in the world. And I can tell you, a lot of grannies don’t have a clue who Dwayne Johnson or Selena Gomez is. 🙂
