The latest iteration in the Formula One racing game series by EA, F1 22 is almost here. If you’ve pre-ordered the game already, you’ll be enjoying the early access period for three days before its launch. EA and Codemaster’s F1 22 is launching on Friday, July 1, 2022, worldwide. However, players who have pre-ordered the Champions Edition will be able to play the game before anyone else. Players will also get a 10-hour trial on EA Play.
The initial look at F1 22 seems pretty impressive and racing game fans are hyped for its launch. It’s going to feature a licensed soundtrack for the first time ever and there’ll be cross-play and cross-gen support for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC players.
F1 22 Game Early Access Release Date and Time
F1 22 game is going to launch this Friday across the globe but players who’ve pre-ordered the Champions Edition on or before May 16, 2022, will be able to enjoy the early access period starting on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 2 AM ET and 7 AM BST.
The early access will be available on all platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Only the Champions Edition players can unlock early access on the given date and time.

Players having the Standard Edition of EA F1 22 will be able to start playing on Friday, July 1, 2022.
If you’re unsure about buying the game, there will be a 10-hour trial on EA Play once the game is available for everyone. PC players having the EA Play Pro subscription can get the complete game for free.
F1 22 Game Preload Size on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation
F1 22 is available to pre-load right now on PC (via Origin, Steam, and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox One/ Series X/ Series S. On Steam, the game size for F1 22 is around 46.19 GB while it’s around 46.57 GB on Xbox.
The game size comes as a surprise for being under 50 GB as the previous installment was well over 80 GB in size. This might mean that not everything is included in the game right away and players will have to download additional elements on Day 1.
It could also mean that Codemasters have found a way to compress the game much better. We’ll find that out this Friday.
