Vanessa Hudgens has been linked to various Hollywood hunks over the years. The actress’s love life has been in public ever since she starred in High School Musical and her relationship with costar Zac Efron became public knowledge.
Hudgens turned 18 years old while shooting for the movie High School Musical. While there is a huge upside to being famous and successful, it also has a hidden dark side with mean fans and prying strangers that got to Hudgens at one point.

Zac Efron
Zac Efron was perhaps Hudgens’ first love. The two of them auditioned for the movie and then they were paired together. Right off the bat, we had a connection,” said Hudgens in an interview. The pair grew close and then started dating while filming for the movie.
Their love did not falter after the movie was released. In fact, the movie went on to become quite popular and Hudgens struggled with fans obsessing over Efron. She admitted that she was sometimes really mean and it was because “girls were running after him, and I was giving them death stares.”
They dated for five years but broke up in 2010. In 2019, she reflected on the relationship and said “It’s just a really weird foreign thing to go through, and by being in a relationship, I feel like it kind of kept me stabilized and grounded, and I had someone to lean on who was going through it as well.”
Josh Hutcherson
After she and Efron separated, Hudgens got with Hutcherson about a year later. They were costars on Journey 2.
However, the two of them never talked about their relationship. Hutcherson did joke about it at one point in 2012 and said “We were going out at one point but she broke my heart — no I’m just kidding.”
They did a good job at keeping their relationship private, not many people knew that they were together for a short period.
Austin Butler
Vanessa Hudgens’ and Austin Butler’s relationship was a long one. It started in 2011 when they attended Coachella and celebrated their birthdays together. They were smitten with each other and loved to be together.
They went on to date for 8 blissful years. But as they say, all good things must come to an end so did their relationship. Citing their hectic schedules as one of the reasons, the couple respectfully parted ways in 2020.

Shortly after the couple broke up, Hudgens was spotted with Kuzma, who was then playing basketball for Los Angeles Lakers.
