The As It Was hitmaker and his girlfriend Olivia Wilde have pulled the plug on their relationship after 2 years of dating. On Friday, many sources confirmed the news of the pair’s break up to People magazine.
A source told the media outlet that Harry and Olivia were “taking a break” from their relationship. The insider went on to say, “He’s still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A. It’s a very amicable decision.”
A source close to the pair stated that the two of them are ‘still very close friends.’ Another insider went on to say, “Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart.”
Olivia Wilde was previously linked to Jason Sudeikis
Before sparking romance rumors with the Watermelon Sugar singer, Olivia was in a long-term relationship with the We’re The Millers actor Jason Sudeikis and they were engaged. The two of them met each other for the first time on the set of Saturday Night Live.
In a 2017 interview with Stephen Colbert, the Ted Lasso star recalled the pair’s first meeting and said, “I met her at a finale party for SNL. We hit it off that night.” Later on, Olivia also talked about their meeting with Allure, and she said, “I met Jason, and I thought he was so charming. He’s a great dancer and I’m a sucker for great dancers. But he didn’t even get my number.”
Soon after, Jason and Olivia were spotted out and about in public several times. At that time, they were snapped together at movie premieres, and award shows. In January 2013, Jason proposed to Wilde with a 1920s Parisian engagement ring that featured a circle of emeralds around a center diamond.
In October of the same year, Olivia and Jason revealed that they were expecting their first child together. Wilde gave birth to her and Jason’s first child together, son Otis Alexander Sudeikis, in April 2014.
At that point, Olivia took to her Twitter to announce the arrival of her first baby. She tweeted, “Ladies and gentlemen, Otis Alexander Sudeikis has LEFT the building! (I’m the building).”
In April 2016, Wilde announced that she and Jason were expecting their second child together. The pair’s second child, daughter Daisy Josephine came into the world in October of the same year.
