Yes, you read that right. Soon after the premiere of House of the Dragon, the premium streaming app HBO Max crashed. As soon as the first episode was dropped on HBO Max, many social media users came forward and went on to say that the app is crashing.
Up until now, it is not known how widespread the issue is as some of the users have also tweeted some snaps of them watching the premiere episode of the show House of the Dragon available about three minutes before the 9 p.m. ET scheduled release. HBO Max addressed the problem of the users
HBO Max issued a statement to Deadline, that read, “House of the Dragon is being successfully viewed by millions of HBO Max subscribers this evening. We’re aware of a small portion of users attempting to connect via Fire TV devices that are having issues and are in the process of resolving for those impacted users.”
Soon afterward, a tweet was made from the official Twitter handle of HBO Max Help. The streaming app replied to a tweet made by a user named Leah. HBO Max Help’s tweet read, “Hi Leah, We’re aware some users may be encountering issues at the moment. Please try closing the app and restarting to see if this helps. Reach back out right away if you still have trouble. Thanks! ^TW”
