During a 2015 interaction with Cosmopolitan, the American Horror Story star spilled the beans on what kind of a partner he is looking for. At that time, he told the media outlet, “I guess girls who give me a chance, you know? If I say the wrong thing or do something stupid or fumble or spill shit on my shirt, she’s OK with it.”
Evan added, “She’s cool with that and will give me another chance to say the right thing and get past my nerves and insecurity. There are a lot of girls out there who don’t really want to do that. But there are a lot of girls out there who do, and those are the ones — the only ones — I can really go for. I need a couple more chances than just the first one.”

Emma Roberts (2012-2019)
Evan Peters’ first high-profile romance was with his American Horror Story co-star Emma Roberts. The two of them met each other for the first time in the year 2012. They crossed paths while filming the 2012 John Cusack comedy drama Adult World.
Emma and Evan started dating later that year, and then, Peter popped the big question to Roberts the next year. As per the reports of The Sun, in January 2014, it was disclosed that the couple got engaged after the Mare of Easttown star proposed to Emma over the December holidays.
Later on, in June 2015, it was revealed that Emma and Evan had called off their engagement. The two lovebirds reconciled their romance nearly three months later in September of the same year.
During an earlier interaction with Vulture, Peters talked about their love story and how they got together. At that time, he told the media outlet, “I had a crush on her too and I didn’t really know how to approach her, or talk to her, or any of that stuff.”
The Office star went on to say, “At the time I was a more introverted actor, trying to kind of stay into it and stay focused and not talk too much. But, yeah, I tried to talk to her a few times and, I don’t know, I kept saying the wrong thing.”
Evan further added, “I was really kind of awkward and stupid and like, ‘Oh God, this is just not working out well. I’m just going to shut up and not talk.’ We started hanging out after the movie and I relaxed a little bit and she started getting my sense of humor.”
Nine months after their reconciliation, Emma and Peters called it quits again. Their on-and-off relationship came to an end on March 20, 2019. Then, Emma began dating Friday Night Lights star, Garrett Hedlund. Roberts and Evan are no longer together and they share a son.
Around the same time, a source told Us Weekly, “Emma and Evan were heading for a split and now are just friends.” The source further added, “Evan has moved out. It wasn’t a bad breakup. Garrett and Emma have been friends, but this is new, casual, and just a couple of weeks old.”
Halsey (2019-2020)
After his split from Emma, Peters moved on in his life with the pop star Halsey. In September of 2019, Evan and Halsey were spotted out and about in public together while they were on a date at Six Flags.
Halsey and Peters made their romance official the next month. The two lovebirds stepped out and made their first public appearance as a couple at American Horror Story’s 100th episode party. For the party, both of them dressed up in disco-inspired getups.
Later that month, the Him & I singer confirmed the romance of the pair while making an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. For those of you who are unaware, let us tell you back in the day, Halsey had a big crush on Evan Peters.
Halsey even made a couple of tweets about the Hollywood actor in the year 2013. At that time, the musician took to her Twitter and wrote, “Petition for Evan Peters to date me.” In a separate tweet, she went on to say, “I just want cookies and Evan Peters.”
