Kathy Hilton will not be seen in the next season of the reality show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She has appeared in the last 2 seasons of the American television series as a “friend of.”
Throughout the history of the show, Kathy has been featured as the elder sister of the cast member Kyle Richards and former housewife Kim Richards. Although, she became an official cast member of the show when she was prominently seen in season 11 and season 12.

Kathy Hilton exits ‘RHOBH’ after 2 seasons
The American socialite Kathy Hilton might be leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills but she is not bidding adieu to reality shows or the NBCU family. She will be soon seen in the second season of her daughter’s reality show on Peacock.
While having a chat with E! News, Kathy was asked if she would be coming back to RHOBH‘s upcoming season, to which, she responded, “No, I’m doing Paris in Love.”
You won’t be seeing Hilton in season 13 of the longtime-running show. She had only good things to say about the show. She went on to say, “I know it’s going to be great. It’s always interesting and fun and lots of drama.”
The news of Kathy’s exit from the show comes after her sister and former co-star Kyle Richards disclosed last week that her bond with Hilton was still pretty strained after the RHOBH season 12 reunion which saw the light of day in October.
The Halloween Kills star told E! News, “Things are obviously not great — I think most people know that. But we’re family, we’re blood. We’ll always come back together.”
A couple of weeks ago, the duo reunited for the bridal shower of their niece Whitney Davis and they will be attending her upcoming wedding. The reality star told the media outlet, “It’s my niece’s special day and she’s going to be getting married, and we’re all going to be together there.”
She further added, “We’ll be, of course, civil and nice and hopefully, one day, be back to normal again.”
When did Kathy Hilton join the series ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’?
For those of you who are unversed, let us share with you, Kathy joined the series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in the year 2021 during season 11 as a friend of the franchise alongside her full-time diamond-holder sister Kyle.
Their middle sister Kim Richards bid adieu to the show in the year 2015 after 5 seasons. The fans loved Kathy during her first season on the show. Some of her moments from the show even went viral on social media.
All was going well for Kathy until season 2. In the second season of the show, she was accused of having an off-screen meltdown during the cast’s trip to Aspen. Then, Hilton allegedly misbehaved while she was at a club with the rest of the group. It has been reported by some media outlets that even used the F-word slur.
In addition to this, the mom of social media star Paris Hilton was also accused of saying horrible things about all her co-stars including her sister Kyle Richards. Lisa Rinna who said her goodbyes to the show in January was the only cast member to allegedly witness the entire meltdown.
Lisa was so shocked by Kathy’s behavior that after getting back to the cast’s vacation home, she quickly retreated to her bedroom and locked herself in to get away from her Hilton. However, Kyle decided to forgive her sister for what happened but Lisa didn’t back down.
In a previous episode, Rinna said, “I’m sorry, Kathy, you’re not going to get away with it with me. You can have your tears. You can do what you’re going to do but you did what you did and you’re not going to just gaslight and manipulate me right now.”
During the final episode of season 12, Lisa and her castmate Erika Girardi were accused of leaking information on Hilton’s meltdown to the press. Then, Kyle told the group that Girardi’s publicist was allegedly behind the matter.
Later on, Hilton shared that she would not return to the series if Rinna and Girardi were not removed from the cast of the show. In a video shared by the media outlet TMZ, Kathy was heard saying, “I had said that I would only be willing to come back if the cast [was different]. If it was completely the same, absolutely not.”
She further added, “I feel there are two bullies that intimidate a lot of the other girls. A couple speak up, but most of them, they’re not being the most authentic self when they’re pushed up to the wall and they’re afraid of what those two bullies [might do] because they’re capable of anything, Erika and Lisa.”
Along with this, Kathy also accused Lisa and Giradi of being “desperate for a storyline.” She went on to say, “They’ll throw anybody under the bus. I said a few weeks ago, ‘You watch. They’re all going to start turning on each other.'”
