K-Pop’s most adorable couple HyunA and Dawn have called it quits after 6 years of dating! Kim Hyun-ah popularly known as HyunA announced the news of her split from her fiancé Dawn on the social media platform Instagram.
Not long ago, the K-Pop singer shared the news of her and Dawn’s breakup on Instagram. She penned down a message in Korean. Read on to learn the reason behind the separation of the pair.
It’s over between K-Pop stars HyunA and Dawn
On November 30, 2022, Wednesday, the Change singer took to her Instagram to share the news of her split from the former Pentagon member. She put out a short statement on her Instagram feed.
“We broke up. We decided to remain good friends and colleagues from now on. Thank you always for your support and for looking over us fondly, ” HyunA wrote in Korea.
Soon after the K-Pop star announced the news of her break up from Dawn, the fans of the pair got the shock of their life and they flooded the comments section of the Instagram post with loads of messages. One social media user wrote, “It’s ok! you take care yourself! we love you forever! ❤”
Another user chimed in and commented, “Ain’t no way…. after everything why…why you guys were such a huge inspiration with break the standards, dating and engaged in the K-Pop scene… Why😭 I respect and understand you guys decision bc yk not everyone stays together until the end… at this point I’m just wondering what is love?”
Followed by a fan who penned, “love? nope for me doesn’t exist after seeing this.” Another fan wrote, “Why? Why before December? It’s ok break up if there’s a severe problem between you guys but plz don’t break up without telling us the reason! I won’t believe in love ever!!! ”
When did HyunA and Dawn get engaged?
For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, HyunA and Dawn started dating in the year 2016. The two of them made their relationship public two years later in 2018. They were one of the biggest power couples in the world of K-Pop.
The I’m Not Cool singer and the Money hitmaker got engaged earlier this year in February. At that time, the former couple announced the news of their engagement on the social media platform Instagram. Then, Dawn posted a video of the pair on Instagram which showed the two of them with matching rings on those fingers. He simply captioned the clip, “Marry Me.”
HyunA reposted the sweet video of the pair on her Instagram feed. “Of course, it’s a yes,” she wrote in the caption of the Instagram post. As of this moment, Dawn has not made any official comment on the pair’s split.
