Killing It Season 2: Peacock Renewed The Comedy Series For One More Round

You wanna hear some killer news! Killing It’ is coming for another season! Yes, that was a bad joke but it’s pretty great news.

The streaming platform Peacock is emerging as one of the most prominent streaming services available. The network has had a reputation for bringing unique shows filled with humour and emotions.

Adding to that, Peacock’s acclaimed comedy series is bringing back Killing It starring Craig Robinson who plays Craig in the rag to riches comedy series.

Considering that the comedy series received a massive response and fans are dying to see Craig Robinson bring back the Craig action, the streamer has decided to renew the series for another season. Here’s everything you should know. 

Killing It’ Season 2: Peacock Renewed The Comedy Series For One More Round

With the first installment packing up with 10 episodes in April, the folks over Peacock have given a green light to Craig’s comedy series for another season.

The official announcement was made by Susan Rovner, chairman of Entertainment Content for NBCUniversal Television and Streaming.

She mentioned in the announcement that introducing a comedy series starring Craig Robinson would eventually make them reach their potential and it happened exactly how the team at Peacock imagined.

She also thanked fans and viewers for digging into such a fresh comedy series that explored a man’s journey to reach his American dream.

She added that the creators’ Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici can’t wait to unfold hilarious turns that come in Craig’s way as he climbs the mountain to reach his American dream. 

Expressing the renewal news, the creators’ Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici said that they are grateful to streaming platform Peacock and the production network Universal Studios for believing in their Snake led satire comedy that doesn’t fit the ideal family comedy situation. 

Killin It: What Is The Comedy Series About?

The show focuses on the life of Craig who is a bank security guard who struggles to make daily ends meet. He aspires to live life like a king size for which he pursues his dream to become one of America’s richest men.

The series sheds light on class and capitalism and how these two terms have wrapped the world around their fingers. 

To end his daily struggles and live life on his terms, Craig happens to enter a Python hunting challenge that is actually a real thing in Florida. He takes part in the crazy Python hunting competition that’s worth $20,000.

The tone of the show keeps everything in comedic spirit even the python biting. The series debuted on March 31st 2022 but released the rest of the episodes on April 14th on Peacock. 

Killing It Season 2: Expected Cast

Considering the last episode left things undone and there is still space for characters to add more laughs and humour to the story, season 2 is expected to bring back the prime cast including Craig Robinson, Claudia O’Doherty, Rell Battle, Scott MacArthur and Stephanie Nogueras. 

There has been no official premiere date revealed by the streaming platform. Till then you can brush up on the first season available to stream on Peacock.
