Kim Kardashian appeared on The Tonight Show with her kids and revealed that she never saw “SNL” until she hosted the show. To compensate, the Skims founder gave a face massage to Jimmy as he revealed her new skincare line “SKKN BY KIM”. Not only this, but she also narrated how she bonds with Pete over skincare and pimples. Read on to know about her conversation with Jimmy Fallon.
Kim K. Claims She Never Watched SNL
Pete Davidson must be looking back in time right now. Well, he might have Kim as his better half but it seems like he went unnoticed for a long time. Kim Kardashian appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in a black bodysuit and revealed that she never watched Saturday Night Live.Â
Kimberly Noel Kardashian aka Kim K. stated that she had never seen SNL” before until she hosted the show. She said, “I had gone to one taping of Eddie Murphy but I was backstage.” Jimmy was taken aback by her statement and repeated, “You’ve never seen SNL before!” Well, to double the surprise, the drama queen also said that she didn’t know Jimmy Fallon existed on the show.
She said, “I know the show is very iconic but I gotta be honest. I had no idea you were on it.” Phew, I think Jimmy ain’t a big Kardashian fan either. Jimmy laughed it off and replied, “Wow! I didn’t know that, I mean, it’s not like you said that you did, but you really–” Kim also said that she had to text Pete and ask was Will Ferrer on SNL too while he was sitting next to her.
FYI, Kim Kardashian’s kids were also present at the show along with her friend Tracy’s daughter. Kim told her sons, “Guys this is your first time at work with me, don’t mess this up.” Well, kids do what they do the best.
North’s Special-Effects Makeup…
Jimmy Fallon asked Kim about her daughter North who just turned nine. Kim revealed that she is really into special-effects makeup. She said, “North does like, really good, like wounds and scars and really–she’s really good at it. Kim revealed that she has been taking classes.
When asked about how she celebrated North’s ninth birthday, Kim said, “She wanted to have this spooky wilderness party, so I took them out camping in the woods. While saying this, she kept on telling her kids to go as they were making a lot of noise, especially pointing out at Psalm.
Jimmy then asked, “How did she get into knowing about all that makeup and–?” Kim said, “I should be concerned but I have no idea how she got into it but I got her a teacher to show her and get all of her supplies. So, she wanted to teach her girlfriends. And we took about eight kids, eight girls and we went camping in the wilderness and she wanted it to be really spooky.”
Kim said that North wanted these mannequin heads and she taught her girlfriends how to do special-effects makeup. Jimmy also mentioned North’s recent video singing “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”.
Kim also stated that North can also rap. Well, good to know that the daughter at least got something good other than being a constant victim of camera and makeup because of Kim. Kim said she knows how to sing the song in eight languages. Jimmy also played the video where North can be seen singing “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”.
Jimmy Fallon stated that the Kardashians are a very talented family. And why not, it only takes a sex scandal to become famous and rich, ey. Well, that is not what the host meant. He played a video wherein Kim, Khloe and Kourtney can be seen singing when Kim was around North’s age.
Kim’s Face Massage With SKKN BY KIM…
Jimmy Fallon also promoted the 41-year-old’s skincare line “SKKN BY KIM” by revealing some new products. While pulling out all the nine products from the newly launched line, Jimmy said, “look how gorgeous they are.” Well, I must admit, the packaging is next level. More importantly, the products are unisex and Jimmy couldn’t keep his hands off them.
Kim stated that this is her daily routine. She said, “It’s like you use eight products in the morning and then substitute one for the night serum, to be used in the night.” When asked by Jimmy if it’s a lot, she stated that people want an easy, quick fix but it takes a lot of work and care so she wanted to make something legit. So, she formulated SKKN with the most amazing chemists and facialists.
Kim also revealed that she and Pete bond over their skincare regime. She said that “We go to dermatologists together. We inject out pimples together at the same time.” Kim revealed that Pete is such a gentleman that if she forgets to put a pimple cream on her face, Pete ensures to put it for her. Kim even gave a face massage to Jimmy with her new skincare line.
