Congratulations are in order for Lindsay Lohan as the actress is going to be a mother! The Mean Girls star announced that she is pregnant with her first child with her husband Bader Shammas. Lohan made the revelation with an Instagram post on Tuesday.
The 36 year old actress secretly tied the knot with financier Shammas in July last year. The two never officially announced their wedding; however, Lohan addressed Shammas as her ‘husband’ in one of her social media posts. Read on to know more about the couple’s exciting news.
Lindsay Lohan Expecting First Child with Husband Bader Shammas
Lohan took to Instagram on March 14 with an adorable photo of a white onesie which had the message, “coming soon….” She captioned the post, “We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼,” and tagged her husband in it. The actress also shared the picture on her Instagram story.
A number of celebs and fans flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages and wishes. “😍😍😍😍😍😍 mama Lindsay 🥹 I love you and your baby so much already,” wrote Karen Wazen. Cinematographer Graham Robbins commented, “so happy for you guys our babies are going to be best pals haha.”
The Actress Secretly Got Married to Shammas in July 2022
The couple has been together for over two years now. They announced their engagement in November 2021, when Lohan shared a series of photos from her special moment on Instagram and wrote, “My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love 💍 11.11.21”.
In July 2022, a rep for the actress confirmed that she had gotten married to Shammas in a secret ceremony. She then introduced her husband to the world by writing, “I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time.”
“I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. ❤️every woman should feel like this everyday 🙏💖,” the Freaky Friday star added. In June, she posted another sweet message for Shammas on social media and wrote, “My love! You’re not only a great man, an incredible person, you’re my best friend.”
“Thank you for you loving me back babe! I Love You So much! ❤️ Happy Birthday 🎂🙌🙏❤️.” Two months later, she posted a photo with her man from their London home and penned, “Home of the queen 🇬🇧 with my 👑.”
Lohan Made her Comeback as a Leading Actress Last Year
Apart from her personal life, Lindsay is doing professionally as well. After taking a break from films and playing mostly supporting roles in the last decade, the actress signed a deal with Netflix and returned as a leading star in the romantic comedy Falling for Christmas last year.
She will next be seen in another romantic comedy, Irish Wish, which is set to release this year. On the other hand, Shammas is reportedly the Assistant Vice President at Global Investments Bank Credit Suisse in Dubai, where Lohan resided for the last few years.
