Ryan Lochte and his wife Kayla Rae Reid’s third baby has joined them earthside. The Olympian’s wife gave birth to the pair’s third child, a baby girl on June 21, 2023, Wednesday. The couple has named their newborn daughter Georgia June Lochte.
While having a chat with Us Weekly, Kayla Rae talked about her newborn baby girl Georgia June and said, “Her middle name has a play on the timing of her birth and a family member.
The model went on to say, “[We’re] thrilled. We are so excited. Ryan is such a great dad; I can’t wait to see him as a father to 3. He’s so great with kids in general, they always gravitate towards him.”
Reid told the media outlet, “I am excited as well, [but] I am more of the worrier, the strict one, the not-as-fun parent, let’s just say. It makes for a good balance.”

In December 2022, the couple announced that they had Baby No.3 on board via a joint Instagram post. They simply captioned the post, “Lochte baby #3 on the way, in June again of course!😜.”
At that point in time, the pair joked about the fact that their third baby will also follow in the footsteps of their elder kids, daughter Liv Rae, 4, and son Caiden Zane, 6, who were both born in June.
During a Good Morning America interview, Kayla Rae said, “We weren’t trying, but not not trying. We were just waiting for the timing to be right.” She added, “I feel like the third kid, you have the Ph.D., you have survived parenting school.”
This time, the pair is more relaxed because Ryan is not training for Olympic trials and can be a more “present” parent. Reid went on to say, “Ryan is such an amazing, hands-on dad, but you can’t be as hands-on as you’d like [when] you’re training so hard, and it’s such a demanding schedule that you physically cannot do both.”
