Internet personality Sofia Gomez, who has more than 5.6 million followers on TikTok, posted a video titled “Explanation” and fans are wondering what’s going on between Sofia and her ex-girlfriend Brooklynne Webb, who has more than 10.8 million followers on TikTok. Sofia Gomez’s “Explanation” On TikTok
TikTok Sofia Gomez has accused her ex-girlfriend, Brooklynne Webb, of sexual assault. The 20-year-old TikTok star took to her social media on Wednesday (Aug 24) and claimed that the latter violated her multiple times in the course of a night. Not only this, but Sofia has made severe allegations of sexual assault towards her ex-girlfriend Brooklynne, which has triggered a big uproar among their fans.
Sofia Gomez posted a video on her account announcing that her relationship was “over”. Without elaborating much on the breakup, she posted an acoustic song on the video-sharing platform and wrote in the comment section: “I really do wish I could tell you guys that this isn’t about Brooklynne but it is.”
In her video, Sofia told her followers that Webb has sexually assaulted her. The video, titled “Explanation” states: “I really didn’t want to have like the post about this breakup because of the way it ended, I just don’t want anyone else to get hurt the way I did, cuz that’s just not cool.”
She continued by stating that Brooklynne, who is widely known by the name Xobrooklynne on social media constantly tried to sexually assault her multiple times while Sofia told her “no” and “stop”. She added that she just wanted to sleep over it but broke up with her after she realised what had happened.
In addition to this, Sofia thanked her fans for showing support and revealed that she is undergoing therapy but really wanted to bring her story to light so that no one else has to undergo such dark and dirty situations. In her video, she can be heard saying:
“For everyone who was worried about me, thank you, I have really good friends surrounding me. I think I’ll be fine. I’m talking to a therapist. So, that’s good. I’ve just seen it happen before where something happens to someone and they don’t say anything and the pattern continues and I don’t want the reason for that to happen to someone else. I know it wouldn’t be my fault.”
Brooklynne Webb Hits Back At Sofia
The sexual assault allegations by Sofia have set social media on fire as fans continue to pour their anger at what happened. However, Brooklynne has an entirely different story to narrate which certainly seems believable. The 18-year-old influencer narrated the exact details of what happened that night.
In her video, Brooklynne stated that on Sunday (August 14), she went back to her apartment with Sofia after a small get-together with a few friends. She also mentioned that Sofia pulled out an adult toy from her bag which she consensually brought along with her. Brooklynne clarified that she was in a “consensual romantic” relationship with Sofia and never touched her with that toy.
Brooklynne added:” We were going to come closer when Sofia said, “I’m tired, I’m going to sleep.” And after that, I kept to myself and did not touch her.” She told her fans that Gomez did not even for once told her that she was “uncomfortable” with what happened the other night and continued to interact with her.
She continued, “On August 21, Gomez called Brooklynne to tell me that she was breaking up with me because I made her feel uncomfortable.” She also confessed that she immediately apologized for not addressing the situation sooner because this was her first breakup and she did not upload any content online.
She added that adding content online would be an “emotional reaction.” The 18-year-old influencer concluded her video by mentioning that she would not be speaking on the matter further and requested the followers not to send hate to Gomez.
