Not long ago, the Snow on the Beach hitmaker brought out her ex-boyfriend, Twilight actor Taylor Lautner on stage during one of her Eras Tour shows. The two of them shared a hug after the Hollywood actor cartwheeled and backflipped onstage at Swift’s Kansas City show.

On Friday night, the 33-year-old Midnight Rain singer Taylor Swift brought out her former partner Taylor Lautner at her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City. The fans got shocked when Lautner appeared on the stage.
The exes shared a hug on the stage. Shortly afterwards, the new music video of Swift’s song I Can See You which features Taylor Lautner, Joey King and Presley Cash was premiered.
Before introducing her ex on stage, the You Belong With Me singer said, “He was a very positive force in my life when I was making the Speak Now album, and I want to say he did every single stunt that you saw in that music video. He and his wife have become some of my closest friends, and it’s very convenient because we all share the same first name.”
Soon after, Lautner also gushed over Swift on the stage. He told her, “I respect you so much. Not just for the singer you are, the songwriter, the performer — but truly for the human you are. You are gracious, humble, kind and I’m honored to know you.”
For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, the Blank Space singer and the Home Team star dated way back in the year 2009. The two of them met each other for the first time on the set of rom-com Valentine’s Day. They played high school sweethearts in the film. Soon after, the romance rumors of the pair started swirling in the air.
In November 2009, Taylor talked about Lautner in her SNL monologue. At that time, she poked fun at her love life and said, “If you’re wondering if I might be dating the werewolf from Twilight.” Then, she concluded by saying, “I’m not going to comment on that in my monologue.”
Swift and Lautner called it quits by the end of 2009 after dating for a couple of months. They parted ways in December 2009. Then, a source told People magazine, “It was never a big deal to begin with. The media made way more out of it than it. They went out on a few dates and realized this was just not going anywhere.”
