Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker appears to be following the footsteps of Pete Davidson when it comes to love tattoos. While Pete’s love story with Kim Kardashian may have ended, Travis and Kourtney’s marriage is getting stronger. The tattoo which once belonged to Shanna Moakler, was covered by Kourtney’s luscious lips.
In his tattoo, Travis Barker got a permanent love stamp on Kourtney’s lips. Travis actually got this tattoo one week after he proposed to Kourtney on his knees last year, to cover his ex Shanna Moakler’s name. She recently posted her husband’s left bicep on her Instagram story and wrote: “my lips on my husband: talk about couple goals”.
An Extra-Special Tattoo…
The Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker is very much in love with his better half, Kourtney Kardashian and it appears like he is picking up Pete Davidson’s style of getting inked for his love. Known for his artsy tattoos, the 46-year-old drummer has another tattoo on his body, which is extra-special. Kourtney is flaunting his hubby’s left bicep where he got a permanent love stamp of her lips inked.
The Poosh founder flaunted her hubby’s new efforts via her Instagram story on Friday (Sept. 2) and wrote: “my lips on my husband: talk about couple goals”. Now while the tattoo may seem recent per many outlets, in reality, he actually got Kourtney’s lips on his left bicep on October 24, 2021. Hours later, his tattoo artist Scott Campbell also posted final results of his tattoo, including a massive scorpion, on his Instagram.
“Scorpio season. On @travisbarker,” Campbe; captioned the image. “Lips straight from the mouth of @kourtneykardash. Congrats you two.” Well, seems like Kourtney is flaunting that very tattoo to show what couple goals look like. Phew, ask Pete once, the poor guy got a lot on his body in Kim’s name.
Barker’s Love For Kourtney…
If you’re not aware, last year, Travis Barker, 46, got Kourtney’s name inked on his left nipple and just. a month later, he let her tattoo the phrase “I love you” on his inner forearm. The Blink drummer is known for having around 100 tattoos on his body and some of them are surely dedicated to Kourtney.
In March 2021, Travis posted a video of himself on Instagram wherein he inked the phrase “you’re so cool”. It later came out that the phrase was from a classic film “True Romance”, which is Kourtney’s favourite movie. The two married in a lavish ceremony in Italy. Yes, the first one was a “just for fun” ceremony in Las Vegas with Elvis presiding and an intimate legal ceremony in Santa Barbara, California.
Their marriage in Italy in May was a grand affair as it was hosted at a castle in Portofino and staged before a Gothic altar. Everything about the wedding was like the classic “Romie+Juliet” set. For her wedding, Kourtney donned a white Dolce & Gabbana minidress and wore an embroidered cathedral-length veil alongside.
If you don’t know this, Travis made some real efforts to propose to Kourtney for the first time for marriage. He made a large arrangement of roses and candles on a beachside hotel and even collaborated with famous jewellery designer Lorraine Schwartz to create the perfect ring for her. Well, he loves her way too much and everything is worth it!
