The real name of Bray Wyatt is Windham Lawrence Rotunda. He was born on May 23, 1987, in Brooksville, Florida. He was the son of the WWE Hall of Famer, Mike Rotunda. Along with this, he was the grandson of the wrestling pro and football player, Blackjack Mulligan.
Rotunda made his debut in the wrestling world in the year 2009 at the Florida Championship Wrestling. Throughout his intriguing career, he participated in many big WWE events such as SummerSlam and Smackdown.
In 2014, Bray went against legendary wrestler John Cena and it was undoubtedly the match of the year. In 2019, he was honored with the Male Wrestler of the Year award at the WWE Year-End Awards.
What was the cause behind the death of Bray Wyatt?
The heartbreaking news of Bray’s demise was confirmed by Triple H on X formerly known as Twitter. He wrote, “Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed earlier today.”
Triple H went on to say, “Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time.” As per various media outlets, Bray died of a heart attack as a result of his recent battle with Covid-19. However, up until now, the cause of his death has not been confirmed by his family.
Who is Bray Wyatt’s ex-wife?
When we talk about the love life of the WWE star Bray Wyatt, he was once married to Samantha Rotunda, a real estate agent from Florida. The pair tied the knot in the year 2012. However, their marriage wasn’t meant to last forever and they called it quits in 2017.
Over the course of their marriage, the former couple welcomed two daughters, Cadyn and Kendyl Rotunda. As per The Us Sun, Samantha is currently married to a landscape laborer named Dan Pixley.
