Just like Harry Styles, Taylor Russell is well-versed with the world of limelight, she is an actress by profession. She was born on July 18, 1994, in Vancouver, British Columbia, and brought up in Vancouver, Toronto. However, she didn’t live there for a long time.
Throughout her childhood, Russell was always on the move. As per various reports, back in the day, she moved somewhat around 16 times because her dad was a struggling actor.
While having a chat with Elle, the Lost in Space star spilled the beans on her childhood and said, “I didn’t grow up in a wealthy family. My parents struggled; we were on welfare. Things changed a lot, so there was always an opportunity for reinvention, to create something new.”
Taylor Russell is biracial
Taylor was born to a white mom and a black father. For most of her life, she grew up with her mother’s side of the family. In a media interaction, she recalled that while growing up she felt unaccepted by her peers due to the color of her skin.
During an interview with TheGrio, the Bones and All actress said, “I have always had people who wanted to touch my hair and Black girls not accepting me because I’m too light-skinned to fit in with them and white girls who rejected me because I was different than them too.”

Then, Taylor played the role of Jennifer in the Disney XD television film Pants on Fire. She also made a few guest appearances in TV shows like Strange Empire (2015), Falling Skies (2015), and Dead of Summer (2016). Apart from this, she also appeared in movies such as Before I Fall (2017) and Down a Dark Hall (2018).
From 2018 to 2021, the Canadian actress essayed the character of Judy Robinson in the Netflix series Lost in Space. She was last seen in the romantic horror film Bones and All alongside Timothée Chalamet.
