Poured With Insane Threats and Anti-Semitism
Sometimes I wonder if the world is really moving forward. Lizzy Savetsky, who is a Zionist influencer, confirmed Wednesday (Nov. 16) that she has exited the upcoming season 14 overhaul of “Real Housewives of New York City before the new season even wrapped.
Lizzy Savetsky took to Instagram to narrate the harsh reason behind quitting the hit bravo series reboot. The rising star announced that she has been subjected to a “torrent of antisemitic attacks” since the filming of this reboot began.
Lizzy, who has been vocal about her religious and political views on social media, wrote: “I will not be continuing on the Real Housewives of NYC. As a proud orthodox Jewish woman, I thought participating in this series would be a great chance to represent people like me and share my experience.”
“Unfortunately, from the time of my announcement in the cast, I was on the receiving end of a torrent of antisemitic attacks. As this continued, I realized that this path was no longer right for me and my family.” She concluded that she was “looking forward to my next chapter.”
In response to her Instagram post, several celebrities and fans came to her support. Samantha Yanks wrote, “Love you @lizzysavetsky and so terribly sorry to hear what you and your family endured. Here for you. Always. 💙 Hen Mazzig wrote, “Sending you all the love and strength, your community is with you.”
Bravo Confirms Lizzy’s Departure
Lizzy Savetsky, who boasts 220,000 followers on Instagram, calls herself a “Proud Jew & Zionist” in her bio. Her departure from the “RHONY” reboot comes not even a month after Bravo announced she would be a part of the cast, alongside Ubah Hassan, Erin Dana Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Sai De Silva, Jessel Taank and Brynn Whitfield.
Bravo has also come forward to confirm Lizzy’s departure amid a pool of antisemitic comments against the Zionist influencer. A spokesperson from Bravo stated: “After thoughtful consideration and discussion with Lizzy, we have reached the mutual conclusion that Lizzy will not be a cast member on ‘RHONY.’”
Production sources revealed that the mother of three, who is married to a plastic surgeon, stopped filming for the show nearly two weeks ago. Previously, Bravo described Lizzy as a “digital influencer” who “uses her platform to express her style, and educate others on her deep-rooted beliefs.”
The Zionist influencer also runs her own matchmaking service “Bashert”, dedicated to Jewish singles. Lizzy also came to light when she fired back at Kanye for his “hate speech” and “antisemitic rants” against the Jewish community. In October, she posted a video, slamming the “Donda rapper” and noted in the caption, “I continue to receive shockingly hateful, even threatening comments in support of his antisemitic message.”
