FedEx will also remain functional on Columbus Day 2022 except for their single service- FedEx Ground Economy (formerly FedEx Smartpost). The cost-effective U.S. residential shipping option is for low-weight, non-urgent, high-volume shipments.
This means that FedEx will be working on the federal holiday falling on Monday, October 10, 2022, but they won’t deliver some of the parcels. If your parcel is coming via FedEx Ground Economy, then it’ll be delayed for a day and would arrive on October 11th.
