Soon after, Jackson graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2006. After completing her graduation, she kicked off her career in journalism.
In the year 2012, Hallie started working with the Hearst Corporation and two years later, she began her long-term association with NBC News. During the early years of her career, she covered many huge political moments such as the hotly-debated Ted Cruz presidential campaign.
