The Stock Market will not open for regular trading hours on Black Friday. The NYSE and NASDAQ will run from 9:30 AM ET to 1:00 PM ET on November 24, 2023. Usually, the market remains open till 4:00 PM ET.
The early closing of the markets will allow retail investors, traders, and all the other people involved with them to have time to go on a shopping spree.
Is the Bond Market Open on Black Friday 2023?
Yes. The Bond Market is open on Black Friday (November 24th, 2023) as well. It is a direct entity of the federal government. Hence, it only closes completely on federal holidays when the Banks are closed.
However, the Bond Market will also be running at reduced hours on shopping Friday. It will open at the regular opening time of 9:30 AM ET but will close early at 2:00 PM ET.
