Users Are Stunned To Find Out The World’s Longest Nosed Man
There are a lot of strange things posted on social media. For example, users are stunned to discover that this man has the world’s most extended nose. As a result of a Twitter page called Historic Vids posting a picture of Thomas Wedders’s head kept at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not’s museum, the story of Thomas Wedders gained the attention of social media.
A tweet by Mr. Wedders’ Twitter handle on November 12 also stated that Mr. Wedders’ nose measured 7.5 inches in length, according to the Twitter handle. According to the Guinness World Records (GWR) website, he was also a member of a traveling freak circus, which is said to have been “member of a traveling circus for freaks.”
7.5 Inches Or 19 Cm Long, His Nose Made Him Famous For His Abnormally Long Nose
A well-known Twitter page for providing content that may be considered meme-worthy shared a story about Thomas Wadhouse, a circus performer during the 18th century who was famous for his zany antics. Known for his abnormally long nose that measured as much as 7.5 inches or 19 cm in length, the Englishman first gained fame by having an unusually long nose.
News18 reported that Wadhouse, born in Yorkshire in 1730, became a curious attraction at the circus sideshows after becoming a part of many shows.
The warehouse was intellectually challenged, as the outlet said everyone called him an “idiot” because he did not speak English well. The people who called him did so because of the way he looked. Besides the fact that Wadhouse had a good nose, little is known about his personal life or origins beyond what is known about his nose.
In the Guinness World Records, he is mentioned as the man who had the “World’s Longest Nose.” It is thought that the British man died in the 1780s in Yorkshire, aged around fifty years old, after a long battle with cancer.
The Wax Statue Of Thomas Wadhouse Cracks Up The Internet
The famous statue is in Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum. The original poster on Twitter uploaded a snap of the wax statue alongside an explanation of the man’s mysterious life. The caption read, “Thomas Wadhouse was an English circus performer who lived in the 18th century. He is famously known for having the world’s longest nose, which measured 7.5 inches (19 cm) long.”
People on the Internet flocked to the post and burst out laughing when they saw the meme-worthy statue. Many drew similarities between Wadhouse’s statue and Spongebob’s Squidward. Here you can see the tweets.
