Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt was born in the year 1972 in Berkeley, California. He studied at Cambridge Rindge and Latin high school. Ben acted in theater productions and took his inspiration from drama teacher Gerry Speca.
He made his debut as a child actor at the age of seven and was featured in the PBS educational series The Voyage of the Mimi (1984, 1988). He then went on to act in movies like Mallrats (1995), Chasing Amy (1997), and Dogma (1999).
