The next season is expected to follow in similar footsteps and the available leaks are hinting in the same direction. There are plenty of talks of Vantage being the upcoming legend on the roster with certain key gameplay changes.
Apex Legends Season 14 Release Date: When to Expect?
Apex Legends usually receives a new season with a major update every three months. If the beloved battle royale follows the same formula, then Apex Legends’ Season 14 could have a release date set for August 8, 2022.
This would be approximately three months after Apex Legends Season 13: Saviors launched on May 10, 2022, and is scheduled to end on August 9, 2022. Typically, the patch is rolled out at 1 PM ET/ 10 AM PT/ 5 PM UTC.
However, sometimes the updates could be delayed or postponed. We have recently seen this with Season 13 as its patch was delayed by a couple of weeks. Hence, there’s nothing confirmed until EA or Respawn makes an official announcement.
Apex Legends Season 14 Teaser: What did it reveal?
The official Apex Legends Twitter account has just posted revealing teasers for Season 14 on July 22, 2022. One of them offers certain hints about the upcoming character which many are speculating to be Vantage.
The teaser provides six diary entries that are seemingly written by a child. They mention the character’s mother along with their kills while hunting.

The ultimate entry displays a detailed sketch of a sniper rifle and reads, “wish I had some friends or something instead of talking to my gun.”
This has led to more speculation that the character in Season 14 could be Legend Vantage. She is known to use a custom sniper rifle that also grants a damage buff to teammates. She also has a winged companion named Echo that you can deploy to obtain intel about foes.
Apex Legends Season 14 Character: Will it be Vantage?
The Apex Legends community has been buzzing that the next Legend is going to be Vantage. However, neither EA nor Respawn have confirmed it. Although the latest teasers are hinting in that direction alongside the previously available leaks.
Vantage was a part of the huge Apex Legends Reddit leak in March 2022. She is Recon Legend that specializes in sniping. According to the leaks, Vantage’s kit revolves around long-range combat and buffs for her team.
Here are the rumored ability descriptions for Vantage that come from not-so-reliable sources:
- Sniper Kit [Passive]: Tactical info present in ADS unarmed or any long-range scopes.
- Echo Launch [Tactical]: Launch towards your winged companion, Echo. Order Echo by pressing Q. Launch to Echo by holding Q.
- Mark to Kîll [Ultimate]: A custom rifle that scans enemies and boosts damage for Vantage and her allies. Damage doubles for Vantage on consecutive shots. The team gets a 15% bonus on marked targets.
You should only take these with a grain of salt unless EA or Respawn officially reveals Vantage as the character for Apex Legends Season 14.
Apex Legends Season 14 Leaks and Rumors
Apart from leaks about Vantage, there are some other interesting rumors about Apex Legends Season 14 roaming on the web. One notable speculation states that the leaked “Moon” map could be coming in Season 14 and it’s currently in the final stages of design.
However, developers often produce content for the upcoming seasons months in advance. Thus, it isn’t essential for the map to launch with Season 14. It might launch though.
Another recent leak claims that the Gun Game LTM which is one of the highlights of Apex Legends Mobile is coming to PC and consoles with Season 14. This seems to be a more believable rumor considering the fans’ response to the mode.
One more rumor coming from Apex Legends content creator ThordanSmash states that the Season 14 patch could see changes made to controller aim assist. It would be a much-welcomed change for players using mouse and keyboard.
Apex Legends balance designer John Larson has also previously mentioned that improvements in aim assist are in work. So, ThordanSmash could actually be right about it.
Apex Legends Season 14 Battle Pass Theme possibly leaked
Apex Legends Season 14 will have a brand new Battle Pass having several tiers and rewards. However, there’s no official update about the content included in it yet.
Still, a reliable Apex Legends leaker AG420 claims that he had found the code “huntersafari” in the game files several times and it’s for various Banner Frames. ThordanSmash then joined in and claimed that it is for the Season 14 Battle Pass.
If the leaks happen to be true, the Battle Pass for Apex Legends Season 14 could have a hunter theme. The leaked banners display wildlife from the Storm Point map that got updated with the latest season.
