Dordle has two Modes: Daily Dordle & Free Dordle
Dordle offers two game modes that you can access from the main game page. The first one is Daily Dordle which is just like Wordle where the whole world gets a single puzzle consisting of two concurrent words every day.
You can play it only once a day using seven attempts. If you win or lose, you’ll have to come back the next day to play again.

How to Play Dordle?

Dordle uses similar rules that Wordle has but you need to guess two words concurrently in 7 or fewer attempts. The key twist that Dordle has is in terms of the change of colors in tiles. There are the usual green, yellow, and grey tiles.
However, there are also partially colored tiles which could be half green on the left and half green on the right or half grey on the left, or half yellow on the right.
These partially colored tiles depict the following:
- Half-green on left & Half-yellow on right: The letter is present at the same spot in the left grid and at a different spot in the right grid.
- Half-yellow on left & Half-green on right: The letter is present at a different spot in the left grid and at the same spot in the right grid.
- Half-green on left & Half-grey on right: The letter is present at the same spot in the left grid and not present in the right grid.
- Half-yellow on left & Half-grey on right: The letter is present at a different spot in the left grid and not present in the right grid.
- Half-grey on left and Half-green on right: The letter is not present in the left grid and at the same spot in the right grid.
- Half-grey on left and Half-yellow on right: The letter is not present in the left grid and at a different spot in the right grid.

Yes, it is possible to play Dordle Daily more than once a day when you have failed at your first attempt. However, that option is not present on the website. You’ll have to use a trick.
