This time, there is “Listening Personality” which lets you find out what is your personality when you are streaming songs on Spotify.
What is Listening Personality in Spotify Wrapped 2022?
Spotify has introduced “Listening Personality” with Wrapped 2022. It is an assessment of your music-listening personality inspired by the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) personality test.
With this test, users get sorted into 16 music personalities like the Replayer, the Deep Diver, the Early Adopter, the Adventurer, and others. These personalities define your approach to streaming music on Spotify.
To assess your listening personality, Spotify uses four metrics which are as followed:
- Familiarity (F) vs Exploration (E).
- Loyalty (L) vs Variety (V)
- Timelessness (T) vs Newness (N)
- Commonality (C) vs Uniqueness (U)
Combining these factors, listening habits can be distinguished among sixteen personalities.
“The way we listen to music says a lot about us and your listening personality not only tells you about the music you listen to but what that says about your music taste,” Babar Zafar, Spotify’s vice president of product development, stated.
How to Know your Listening Personality with Spotify Wrapped?
You can easily know about your music-listening personality with Spotify Wrapped 2022. All you have to do is go through your Wrapped in the Spotify app and find the Listening Personality. Follow these steps:
- Go to the Play Store/ App Store and update Spotify.
- Now launch the Spotify app.
- Tap on the Spotify Wrapped 2022 banner on the home page.
- It will display your name along with the message “Your 2022 Wrapped is ready. Dive deep into the music and podcasts you loved most this year.”
- Keep viewing your Wrapped until you find “Listening Personality.”
- Once it is on the screen, you can view your personality.
- You can also tap the “Share” icon to let your friends know about it.
