The sad news of Williams’ death was confirmed by his agent Barry McPherson on Monday, June 12. The incident involved Treat’s motorcycle and a single car. He was the only one who got injured in the crash.

Treat Williams passed away in a motorcycle accident
The tragic news of Treat’s sudden demise was confirmed by the actor’s agent Barry McPherson to People magazine. His agent told the publication that the prolific actor died after being involved in a motorcycle accident.
Barry McPherson, the actor’s rep of 15 years said, “He was killed this afternoon. He was making a left or a right [and] a car cut him off. I’m just devastated. He was the nicest guy. He was so talented.”
He went on to say, “He was an actor’s actor. Filmmakers loved him. He’s been the heart of the Hollywood since the late 1970s. He was really proud of his performance this year. He’s been so happy with the work that I got him. He’s had a balanced career.”
Jacob Gribble, the fire chief of Dorset, Vermont told the media outlet that the incident involved a single car and Williams’ motorcycle. The investigators stated that the driver didn’t see the actor’s motorcycle while taking a turn.
Then, the Good Advice actor was airlifted to a New York hospital. He is survived by his dear wife Pam Van Sant, and the pair’s two children Gill and Ellie.
