Ghislaine Maxwell is a British former socialite and convicted sex offender with an estimated networth of anywhere between $1 million to more than $20 million according to Fox Business. 60-year-old Maxwell has been sentenced to 20 years in prison on 28th June. She was convicted last year in December of recruiting and child sex trafficking with her ex-boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein who killed himself three years ago in a Manhattan jail. Ghislaine Maxwell was born in the year 1961 in Maisons-Laffitte, Yvelines, France. She was raised in Oxford. Maxwell studied at Oxford High School for Girls and then a few years later enrolled at Edgarley Hall boarding preparatory school.
She studied modern history at Balliol College, Oxford, and went on to become a prominent member of London’s social elite circles in the 1980s.
Her father, Robert Maxwell, was a British media proprietor. She became the founder of a women’s club and was a director of Oxford United Football Club. She also worked for some time at a publication house, The European, established by her dad.
