American professional golfer Scottie Scheffler has marked his first-ever Masters Tournament win at Augusta National on Sunday, April 10, 2022.
Scheffler celebrated the big day with his wife Meredith Scudder by his side as he won his first-ever green jacket this year.
The 25-year-old golfer is currently ranked the World Number 1 according to the Official World Golf Ranking.
Scheffler bagged the 2022 Masters champion title by shooting 1-under for a 71 in the final round held on Sunday. He finished at 10-under for the tournament.
Scudder who could not control her happiness over her husband’s victory at the 2022 Masters embraced him on the course on Sunday and the couple also shared a kiss.

Scudder was there to support Scheffler for the annual Par 3 contest held on Wednesday, last week.
Scheffler took to Instagram and shared a few pictures with the caption, “First timers at the Par 3 & it definitely lived up to the hype. Mere is still working on cleaning the grooves…”.
As Scheffler remains in the lead, fans are trying to find more details about his lady luck and his wife, Meredith Scudder, to whom he has been married since 2020.

Who is Meredith Scudder?
Meredith Scudder was born in the year 1995 in Texas, America to parents Michelle Scudder and Mark Scudder. She has two siblings – a brother (Andrew) and a sister (Stephanie).
Meredith studied at Highland Park High School where she met her future husband Scottie Scheffler. She then pursued her higher studies at Texas A&M University as a communication and business major.
Scheffler & Scudder’s Relationship
The couple first met at Highland Park High School in Texas. Post completion of high school studies, they attended different colleges. Scheffler got enrolled at the University of Texas while Scudder got admission at Texas A&M.
Even though they both studied in different colleges they used to meet regularly and their relationship remained strong. Finally, Scheffler proposed to her in 2020.
They got engaged in the summer of 2020. The couple planned for a Wonderland-themed wedding and tied the knot officially on 11th December 2020.
The couple celebrated their first year marriage anniversary in December 2021 and on this special occasion, Scottie Scheffler took to Instagram to thank his “best friend” saying, “Very grateful for one year of marriage to my best friend! God is good”.
Last month, when Scheffler won the Arnold Palmer Invitational tournament, Scudder jumped into his arms to celebrate.
During a press conference, Scheffler shared that Scudder knows him better than anyone else.
He said, “Meredith obviously knows me better than anybody, being my wife. She knows how hard it is when I don’t win. So being able to celebrate a win is pretty special, and to have my parents here for this one is extremely cool with all the sacrifices they made growing up. I’m just really pleased.”
Scudder’s appearances on the Course
In February 2022, Scudder was seen on the course to celebrate Scheffler’s win at the WM Phoenix Open. She was seen once again during Arnold Palmer Invitational and the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play in March 2022.
