TikTok is filled with bizarre trends now and then. Recently, a new trend, called the “Cold Girl Makeup” trend is taking over TikTokers, and users are sharing videos with tutorials on how to pull off this look. Inspired by Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner’s face makeup, the idea of “cold girl makeup” was brought forward by content creator Zoe Kim Kenealy, who previously came up with the “crying girl makeup” tutorial.
What Is The “Cold Girl Makeup” Trend?
Previously, TikTok was flooded with videos of the “crying girl makeup” trend, Boston-based content creator Zoe is back with another trend called the “Cold Girl Makeup” tutorial, which has inspired many videos out there. Yes, Zoe Kim Kenealy, known for her unique makeup videos, is the person behind this idea, inspired by the likes of Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner.
The makeup gives you just what it claims in its name. As cold as it sounds, the makeup makes girls look flashy and sparkling, and yet cold. This look can be created by using all that’s already available in your makeup bag so fans need not do extra shopping. To create this look, a blusher is used across the cheeks and nose. After this, you apply a subtle gloss and for the eyes, silver eyeshadow and a mild highlighter do the work.
How To Get The “Cold Girl” Look?
- Blush It Up: Always remember, too much blush never did any harm. But again, ensure that you apply that cool tone punk blush to your cheeks, taking it to the high points of your cheekbones. Do not forget to apply the blush on the tip of your nose, making you feel like you just caught a bad cold.
- Get The Shimmer Going: Use silvery highlight to every high point on your face. From the arches of brow bones, cheekbones, and inner corner of eyes, to down the bridge of your nose, just shimmer it up. Already getting Rudolph vibes?
- Plum Up Those Lips: The last step is to get that bitten lip. You can apply the lip stain to the centre of your lip, with any colour, but again, a berry-toned lipstick would do wonders. Once you’re done diffusing the product in the centre, diffuse the edges with your fingers. Last but not the least, top it up with a silver shimmer gloss. Make your lips freeze with this step.
Even if you have these basic makeup products in your bag, I can still suggest some products that can give you a perfect “cold girl” look. You can choose to pick up Monica Blunder Beauty lip cheek flush (the blushers do wonders), Huda Beauty Glow Obsessions (for that perfect glow while keeping the skin nourished), Dior Addict Lip Glow (for that perfect bitten lip) and REFY Gloss highlighter.
Previously, Boston-based content creator & makeup artist Zoe Kim Kenealy posted a now-viral TikTok directed at “unstable girlies,” creating a “sorrowful look” through makeup. The clip then was viewed almost 3 million times. The “Crying Girl Makeup” video garnered almost 5.1 million views.
December’s about to come to an end, so you’ve still got some time to pull off this amazing “cold girl” face and dazzle your admirers out there. Personal suggestions! winter coats beanies and a scarf add to the beauty. Isn’t it? Got some suggestions of your own? Feel free to share in the comment box.
