At the time, the commentator had to clear the air himself. He replied to the user who had posted the screenshot and wrote, “It’s people being changing wikipedia because we were joking around about it. I’m short, but not that short 5’8″.”
The Confusion Over Rogan’s Height Sparked Again in 2021
In June 2021, a skywriter wrote a message over the city of Los Angeles that read, “Joe Rogan is literally 5’3″. The message was reportedly a part of a proposal, as it was followed up by, “Will You Marry Me?” Someone apparently paid $17,500 to Skytypers, a skywriting company, to display 10 messages on the sky that day.
The message made Rogan’s height a trending topic again, with many users debating how tall he actually was. Meanwhile, two contestants from Fear Factor, the show he had hosted from 2001 to 2005, also expressed their opinion on the debate.
“You know, I always thought that Joe looked great on TV. When I saw him in person, the only thing I could say was that he was a lot shorter than I had imagined….He is so short. I’m 5’10” and I towered over him,” said a contestant.
Joe Rogan’s Height Compared to National Average
As per Joe Rogan, he is 5’8’” tall, which is just an inch shorter than the national average. The average height of men in the United States is estimated to be 5’9″. While the global average height of men stands at 5’6″.
New Jersey, the state Rogan comes from, currently has a mean height of 5’10” for men, which is greater than both the commentator’s height and the national average. Meanwhile, as of 2022, the tallest men in the country reside in Alabama, Iowa, Kentucky, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
