Kourtney Kardashian’s drastic hair transformation is going to surprise you! The Kardashians star, who sported a naturally brunette look for most of her life, has turned blonde. Kourtney debuted her new look on Instagram on Saturday.
The 43 year old also revealed that she earlier went blonde as a teenager in high school. She was first seen sporting her new hairstyle in a now-deleted video posted this week by her husband, Travis Barker.
Kourtney Kardashian Debuts Blonde Look on Instagram
On March 5, the socialite took to Instagram to share a series of photos featuring her chic platinum blonde bob haircut. She posed confidently for the camera wearing a black leather lace-up corset and jacket with matching faux-leather pants. Kourtney accessorized herself with a silver statement necklace and rocked bold eye makeup.
Followers and friends seemed to approve of the reality TV star’s transformation and appreciated her hairdo in their comments. Travis’ son Landon Barker wrote, “Blondie.” A fan also commented, “her blonde era ✨ rock chick.” Another penned, “Thee most interesting one to look at 😍😍🔥.”
Kourtney’s blonde look first made it to the internet in a video posted by Travis on March 3. The musician had recorded a clip to thank his fans for their wishes as he underwent surgery for a finger injury. In the deleted video, Kourtney was spotted with her hair dyed blonde and pulled into a bun as she prayed with her husband.
The Reality Star Previously Sported Blonde Hair in High School
Kourtney then posted the photos on her Instagram stories and shared a couple of throwback pictures from high school, revealing that she had dyed her hair as a teenager as well. “17 year old Kourt strikes again,” she captioned a photo. “1995 bored during finals, convinces someone to dye my hair blonde to procrastinate,” read the text over another picture.
The Poosh founder also reflected on her blonde look in an interview in 2019. “Kim isn’t the only one in the family that has gone bleach blonde,” she had said, adding, “I kept this hair color for only a month before dying my hair light brown with highlights.”
“When I was getting my highlights touched up, all of them fried off and I had spikes of hair that stuck up so I dyed my hair black and cut it short. The next time I went blonde, I wore a wig for a cover shoot for 944 Magazine — in 2009,” she explained.
Kourtney Quashed Pregnancy Rumors Recently
The Kourtney and Khloé star made news recently when she shut down a fan for bluntly asking her if she was pregnant. “The after affects [sic] of IVF (I only acknowledge this comment bc I do think it’s important to know how IVF affects women’s bodies and it’s not spoken about much),” she wrote in reply to a fan’s comment on her Instagram post.
“also are we still asking women if they’re pregnant? 💛,” Kourtney added. Her response got wide support from her fans and fellow celebrities. The reality star had previously rejected pregnancy rumors in August and December 2021 as well.
