On Sunday, Meghan showed off her new hair as she gave an introduction to her good friend Misan Harriman’s TED Talk. In the footage, you can see her lighter hair color with red highlights. She parted her brunette locks in the middle in a poker-straight, layered style.
However, it seems like the Duchess of Sussex who will not be attending King Charles III’s coronation ceremony next week had a keratin straightening treatment. She has been a longtime fan of Kérastase’s Oléo-Relax line.
A couple of years ago, the mom of two told Beauty Banter she “religiously” uses the haircare brand’s frizz-smoothing products. As per various reports, her sister-in-law Kate Middleton also uses the same line of haircare products.
Keeping aside her sleek locks, the royal also had a beautiful glow on her face. She had her makeup game on point. She sported a smoky brown eye, rosy cheeks, and a glossy lip pink. In the video, she can be seen wearing a simple, sleeveless beige boatneck top.
In her speech, Meghan gushed over her photographer friend Harriman’s work ahead of his TED Talk. She went on to say, “Our next speaker has an unmatched eye for a good photograph.” For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, Misan is the one who took the photographs of Princess Lilibet for her birthday last year.
While introducing Misan Harriman before his TED Talk, Markle also mentioned that she’s “experienced his talent firsthand as he has captured many meaningful milestones for me and my family.”

One social media user wrote, “PLASTIC SURGERY ALERT? Sad Meghan Markle wants to be Kate Middleton so bad.” A user went on to say, “It’s not Megan Markle. She looks strange, with other features, she’s removing what made her stand out, her exotic face the product of her mixed race. This is how it looks more common.”
Another user stated that Markle had changed the color of her eyes to look like Kate Middleton. The person’s tweet read, “Omg. Meghan Markle, who is jealous and obsessed with the Princess of Wales, is wearing hazel contact lenses to look like Kate.”
Followed by a user who penned down all the procedures that they thought the duchess had undergone to achieve her new look. The user tweeted, “Facelift, filler dissolved in lips, buccal fat removal, more filler in cheeks, Botox, more subtle veneers, chin implant is my guess.”
Soon after, some people even came forward to defend Meghan on the micro-blogging site Twitter. One user said, “Meghan didn’t have plastic surgery, It’s all about lighting, angles, and contouring. Meghan Markle will not attend King Charles III’s Coronation Ceremony
Yeah, you read that right. Meghan Markle will not be marking her presence at the coronation ceremony of King Charles III. However, Prince Harry will be there to support his father on the historic day. King Charles III will be officially crowned as King on May 6, 2023.
Markle will not be seen at the royal coronation of King Charles III as it also happens to be the day of her son Archie’s 4th birthday. On May 6, she will stay in California with her two kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
In a statement issued by Buckingham Palace, they were “pleased to confirm that The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on May 6th. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”
Recently, a close friend of the royal told People magazine, “Meghan wants to be there to support her father-in-law, but at the same time, the scrutiny she receives outweighs the support. There’s always going to be that other side challenging their reasoning, and who wants to put themselves in that position?”
A Palace insider has also told the media outlet, “It would have been quite significant if Harry hadn’t attended his father’s coronation, but I’m not surprised Meghan isn’t going given the circumstances.”

Last week, the media outlet, The Telegraph reported that in the year 2021, the duchess wrote a letter to King Charles voicing out her concerns about “unconscious bias” in the royal family.
