Lil Durk is on the road to recovery right now! According to the latest report by TMZ, the American rapper whose real name is Durk Derrick Banks, spent the past week in a hospital being treated for severe dehydration and exhaustion.

According to various reports, Lil Durk who is the founder of the collective and record label Only The Family was admitted to a hospital earlier this month on July 6, 2023, after falling sick in Ohio.
Soon after, the 30-year-old rapper was taken to a hospital as a safety measure but the doctors informed him that the situation was more serious than what he and his team were anticipating. He was immediately hospitalized.
Durk had to miss a couple of shows across Europe as well as the 2023 ESPY Awards due to his sudden health scare. It has been reported that he still hasn’t received the green signal from the doctors to get back to work in any capacity.
What did Lil Durk have to say about his health scare?
While having a conversation with TMZ, Durk said, “My fans mean everything to me, you’re the reason why I do this. I was looking forward to touching all of my European fans, performing this week(end), attending the ESPYs, and more but after performing and traveling daily I’ve become severely dehydrated and advised by my doctors not to travel due to exhaustion.”
The All My Life crooner concluded by telling the media outlet that he will get back on stage as soon as he recovers fully. He said, “Once I get my full energy back, it’s back to business which I’m looking forward to. #StillHealing.”
Lil Durk just released his new album titled ‘Almost Healed’
The Chicago rap star dropped his eighth studio album named Almost Healed on May 26, through Only the Family, Alamo Records, and Sony Music. It features guest appearances from many top artists such as Alicia Keys, Future, J. Cole, Kodak Black, 21 Savage, Morgan Wallen, and Rob49 amongst others.
Durk’s latest album Almost Healed consists of a total of 21 songs including Therapy Session, Put Em on Ice, All My Life, Moment of Truth Never Again, War Bout It, Stand By Me, You Got Em, At This Point We Stuck, and many more.
The album debuted at spot number 3 on Billboard 200 chart and it has received good response from the fans. The rapper is all set to release the deluxe version of his album Almost Healed soon but it seems like he will take some time to recover and then, return to work.
