Photopea is another very effective photo editor. This is a web-based alternative to Photoshop just like Pixlr and is effective but not as effective as Pixlr. Photopea has a huge performance boost over a traditional application.

The best part here is that this photo editor supports almost all files and also comes with native support for PSD which will help a lot of digital design freelancers who would like to use this to work without having to pay for Photoshop.

The only drawback with Photopea is the fact that it is adware and you will have to bear with ads when you are editing.

This is the only Mac-specific option that exists on the list. This application is built on inspiration from GIMP and is one of the simplest and the best photo editors available on Mac and is very competitive.

Seashore supports IFF, PNG, JPEG, JP2000, BMP, PICT, PDF, XBM, and GIF which makes it one of the most versatile software on this list and it also has layers of support for advanced editing. The biggest thing that’s different with Seashore is the support for pressure sensitivity which makes it compatible with drawing tablets.

The limitation here is the outdated UI and no support for PSD.
