The chatbot, named CarynAI, can give out responses like your girlfriend for any question or query that you ask. The chatbot has been programmed after the 23-year-old influencer. Marjorie says that she uploaded over 2000 hours of her voice, content, and personality to create the AI, which will help millions of people to talk to her at once. Caryn. AI has been developed by Forever Voices using OpenAI’s GPT4 technology. The chatbot claims to be ‘a virtual girlfriend’ that allows you to ‘enjoy private, personalized conversations.’
“Men are told to suppress their emotions, hide their masculinity, and to not talk about issues they are having. I vow to fix this with CarynAI. I have worked with the world’s leading psychologists to seamlessly add [cognitive behavioral therapy] and [dialectic behavior therapy] within chats,” Marjorie wrote announcing the AI.
“This will help undo trauma, rebuild physical and emotional confidence, and rebuild what has been taken away by the pandemic,” she added. Forever Voices’ CEO John Meyer also tweeted, “With a partnership with legendary Snapchat influencer @cutiecaryn, this marks an incredible step forward in the future of AI-to-Human interaction!”

The influencer has now stated that the AI has ‘gone rogue’. “The AI was not programmed to do this and has seemed to go rogue. My team and I are working around the clock to prevent this from happening again,” Marjorie said.
Meanwhile, experts have expressed concerns over people using AI to cure their loneliness. “These kinds of grand claims about a product’s goodness can just mask the desire to monetize further the fact that people want to pretend to have a relationship with an influencer,” said the director of Internet ethics at the Markkula Center, Irina Raicu.
